Nice adapters, dependable and when you need one for working in an older home, they're great!
When working in older, ungrounded homes, these are priceless to have in your tool box and will absolutely keep you working without having to pull the ground pin from any extension cords you may have. Highly recommend these adapters!

exacly what I needed
We moved into a lovely 100 year in new orleank. It's historical, and it's aged. It has two prong outlets. These adapters work great. I don't bother with the little grounding wire on it, but so far they have done exactly what I want, allowing me to plug my appliances, fans, lamps etc into the outlets and use them with ease.

Most important thing you'll ever read
That little weird metal green tab at the bottom of the adapter actually serves a purpose. It allows you to ground out the component that you plugged into the 2 to 3 pong converter. The proper way to do this is to attach (by soldering) a wire to the little metal tab with a hole in it, and you attach the other side of that wire to a ground rod, electronic ground or any nearby metal surface. The third plug that you're bypassing with the 2 to 3 pin adapter is the grounding pin which is a safety feature. Not doing all the stuff I just wrote about makes your installation unsafe.
