Universal Downspout to Drain Pipe Tile Adapter (Black, 2x3x4)

Great product

I have a metal rain drain that doesn't go more than halfway down the side of my small back yard. My landing by the back gate was constantly flooding. After looking at the hardware store, I needed a 12-ft pipe that I could connect to the one that's there already. I couldn't get the 12-ft pipe into my car & didn't want to spend money with a delivery. I found this one on Amazon. Using Gorilla tape, I connected the round end to my old square drain pipe. It works great; I also spray-painted it a dark green so that it is not noticeable in the grass. The drain keeps the rainwater from flooding the landing by my back gate. When you get this plastic drain, you have to pull it open. It's a good choice and very practical.

I buried two of my down spout drains and this was essential to the task. Well made and a great price! Used two self tapping screws to secure to the downspout and the install was issue free...

Live around a lot of pine trees. Needles would clog the drains and getting it cleaned out was costly. There us a downspout going down the side of our deck that was constantly getting filled with pine needles. Decided to put in a filtering system to allow the rain water to pass but stop the pine needles. Only problem is the filter top is square and the bottom is round to fit an underground drain but the area to be installed is over the deck. Needed the adapter to fit the bottom of the filter housing. Everything fit together but the square to the square downspout is slightly larger and allowed rain water to splash around the edges. Some plumbers putty to fill in the gap worked. Same as the round adapter. Both a loose fit. Anyway, it did the job with some jury rigging to make it work.
