Apevia ITX-AP300W power supply is a standard-size Mini-ITX / Flex-ATX unit that will fit in any ITX form-factor case. It has enough power output and connectors to run low-medium ITX systems used for versatile compact computing applications. For safety, do not overload, abuse or modify the power supply unit. Use of this unit for Bitcoin Mining is not suggested since it will shorten the life and cause failures of power supply. Use for mining purposes is not covered by warranty.

Glad I ignored the negitive reviews
Was skeptical after reading the 1 star reviews and would have purchased a Silverstone instead but this is the only P.S. that will fit in my CNC machine. As such, noise isn't an issue for this installation. Upon arrival I put it on a P.S. tester and fired it up before installing it in the box. All the voltages were spot on and the fan was virtually silent. After a couple of hours in the tester It was installed and works great. Full disclosure: This machine only uses a maximum if 105 watts so the P.S. so it's running at about 35% . Either they have installed better fans or I'm going deaf.

Glad I made the purchase
Reading reviews I almost didn't buy this PSU, Many reviews talked about the noise. One thing I didn't want was noise. But other reviews talked about quality. All discouraging but the one thing that was mentioned was good customer service. Still I didn't want trouble or noise, after reading reviews on many many other PSU brands. I came back to this one to take the chance.Expecting noise, surprised and happy minimal noiseQuality, hard to say, I gave it a gentle shake to make sure no loose parts as some mentioned and installed it. time will tell the rest.

Following RMA Months After Original Purchase, Received EXCELLENT Product
Update 11/19/2017: (5 Stars)TLDR: Sent it in for an RMA, got a replacement 7 days later which is MUCH quieter than the one I had originally purchased.I contacted Apevia support on the 9th after having left a comment on here, and received a quick response from Serena, who suggested that I send the product in for RMA. I visited the US Post Office on the 11th (Veterans Day of course, knowing my luck), and shipped it for $7 via Priority Mail. They had received it on 15th (obtained via USPS tracking information), and on that same day I received an email back from Serena stating that the replacement had been shipped out. I received the replacement yesterday (the 18th), and today I had installed it into my rackmount server. This one is significantly quieter than the one I had received in my earlier review, almost silent in comparison. Overall, I am very pleased at the excellent customer service, and the expedited RMA process from Apevia, even though it had costed me $7 to mail it in.-------------------------------------------Update 11/9/2017: (2 Stars)It has not become unbearably loud, as though the bearings on the unit are completely shot.--------------------------------------------Original Review: (3 Stars)Noisy as hell, I can hear it over the AC Unit which is in the same room. As well, the screws are too big for the case, as the one that is supposed to go near the power does not fit.

A nice surprise! It come with 8pin EPS connector.
I just received the PSU today and got an nice surprise. The PSU actually comes with a 8 pin EPS for using with most modern motherboards. Even the product description photo shows only has a 4pin connector. So no need to buy a 4pin to 8 pin adapter. So not only saves money also saves valuable space in typical small case build. PSU has nice powdery black finish and looks really nice when installed in a black PC case. Fan noise is noticable but expect with such small 40mm fan.Overall a great value for less than $30. Most 1U Flex size PSU costs $100 or more.

Works for what I’m doing
Cheap power supply. Used it to replace the OEM power supply on my makerbot replicator. Requires a little bit of modding to the mount, but other than that it works great. Got rid of my dreaded black screen and made it function again.

Works as advertised
Replaced a lower watt version of the same type (different brand) in a security camera ever. Everything lined up and all the treaded holes took the same screws. The cables were long enough without being so long I had to coil them up. Only difference is that the fan is a bit bigger and somewhat louder.Considering the old one cooked itself that’s probably a good thing.

Great price and nice size
Great price and nice size. I got it for an ITX system I made, and while I usually go for large honking power supplies that can run multiple GPUs, I chose this small one for a portable computer that I can take with me as I travel. It's stable and quiet, and can actually handle a graphics card as well, since my portable system grew. This is a good item for the price.

Works great for Megatouch Aurora
The power supply in my 19” Megatouch Aurora died. Official replacements were 4-5x the cost of this. This one has more wires, but you simply don’t use them. It works great!

Solid Power Supply
Seems pretty well built on the inside, (The first thing I did was open it and void the warranty)I was replacing a legacy proprietary power supply that is no longer available (used the last spare we had). Figured based on the outside dimensions this might work, the supply in it's case fit in the location of the old power supply but left no room for airflow, and the power connector was in the wrong place, so I pulled this one apart, de-soldered most the output lines, shorted the PSON to ground so the case switch would work, checked and double checked everything before plugging into the unit, and everything works. I'm ordering another to have on the shelf as we have a half dozen units that use the proprietary power supply.I used a multitester, a dedicated power supply tester and a couple ancient (sacrificial) ide hard drives testing things before I let it anywhere near my units, and before opening it up to make my changes it passed all tests, easy to do before dropping in any power supply..

Adequate power, but runs a bit loud
Replaced a fried PSU with this in a rackmount system. This unit provide adequate power but the fan can be a bit loud at times.Overall it performs very well, only time will tell about its durability for systems that are on 24/7, my last unit lasted 8 years.

so loud.
it does its job, and appears to reliably. but be warned, this thing is loud. uncomfortably loud. quite jarring in small spaces. I have it hidden inside a desk and im still uncomfortable with the noise. I would say it belongs in servers, but for that job it doesn't provide enough power. 300W is fine for what I got it for ( a small form factor pc), but I plan to eventually replace it because of the noise.

Works just fine. Screw holes don't quite match up with the 1U case it is in but it works so no real complaints besides that.
