Let me tell you, these bad boys have exceeded my expectations! Despite being a bit pricey, they're worth every single penny, and here's why.First things first - these casters are HEAVY DUTY. I've been using them for about three years now, and they have taken a beating in my workshop. From moving my heavy router table around to carrying a pro embroidery machine, these casters have never wavered. It's like they have superpowers!The neutral gray color is perfect for my workshop aesthetic, and although they do get a little dirty after a while, it doesn't bother me one bit. After all, we're in a workshop, not a museum! Bought these for my husband to use in his shop. He’s very happy with them

I replaced the 2" casters on my DIY router stand with the 3" Kreg casters. I have to roll my router stand across a rough brick surface to a rough asphalt surface when I use it. The previous casters were hard to roll and hard to lock. Now the stand rolls so easily that it rolls downhill on a very slight slope. The locks stop both rolling and rotating and are very easy to set and release.I had to modify the stand to account for the increase in height. The stand now has flat 2x4s on the bottom with holes to accommodate the casters. I had to countersink the holes to allow for the 1.5" bolts on the casters. No problem.

Kreg's 3" swivel caster set is the best that I have ever installed. These casters have 1/2" machine screw stems and four heavy duty washer-less nuts. I had to drill bigger holes into my router table's legs to accommodate the large stems. The stems are approx. 2" long. I will enjoy the additional 3" tabletop height, which could be an unwanted feature for some people.One reviewer said that his set arrived without nuts, but that has either changed or his packager accidentally left them out. I measured the stems to be 1/2", not 5/16" as someone has tagged this item. My package has the blue Kreg logo, and it came with four non-standard machine nuts that exceed the standard hardware store commodity grade nuts. Washers are unnecessary for this installation.The ability to lock these wheels to prevent both roll and swivel movement are key features. All four casters swivel and that makes this set well worth their price.They are capable to carry the load from any woodworking shop machine. I have a 1,200 sq. foot well-equipped shop. These casters were purchased for my Grizzly Router table with its cast iron top and sliding aluminum side table. Any tablesaw, bandsaw, wood lathe, jointer or planer would be well served by this caster set. Some machine shop tools will be well served. Almost every workstation in my shop has wheels. These are the best of the best that I have found anywhere.1/3/2019 Update:Today, I purchased a forth (4) set of these casters, and my first set was purchased in 2010. These swivel caster sets have continued to perform flawlessly holding the weight of my woodworking machines. I only wished the price had dropped over these many years.

Been using them for a while and haven’t run into any issues with flat spots, bending, binding or anything else. They are kinda expensive for what they are but they do match up with the Kreg tables perfectly and let you get up and going vs trial and error with other casters

So far, the caster set is everything I expected, however time will tell. With previous casters from other manufacturers, I have found that the polyurethane "tire" disintegrates after a few years. This caster set "appears" to be better made so I am hopeful that it will last longer. I did read the reviews before I purchased this set and there was no mention of tire disintegration so that was the main selling feature for me. They were easy to install and seem to roll smoothly and double lock (the wheel as well as the swivel). I have only had them on my equipment now for a little over a month so I will try to remember to update this review concerning the durability in a few years.

I've built 3 Kreg tables and each time I look at other wheels to install on them, because they're kind of expensive. Each time I end up buying the Kreg wheels, because they're better than the rest.The locking feature is easy to engage and disengage.The locking feature locks the wheel from spinning, but also rotating vertically, so you're never trying to find it to unlock.The wheels are a hard rubber that absorbs some shock and is very easy to roll across the shop.Not sure how much these wheels are rated for, but they hold a lot!I can't imagine what I would need another Kreg table for, but if I build one I'm getting these wheels again.

Excellent castors fit directly on to Kreg router table, making it easy to move around the workshop, also good to have locks on all four castors.

Cost wise, these are very competitive to, if not less expensive than castors I've purchased from a local specialty vendor in the past. These appear to be well constructed and heavy duty for their intended application. According to documentation, each is rated for 150 lbs. The outer material allows these to roll smoothly and I have no concern about marking my finished garage floor. There is also an inner and outer plastic dust cap that I expect will help to keep dust and dirt from collecting around the inner bearing. I definitely recommend this product.

This is a very good, well made, quality product.

Theses are excellent quality casters designed to work perfectly with the Kreg tool stand, and probably wood with other stands as well that will accept a bolt type mount (ie not a plate mount). These are definitely the same quality and performance we all have come to expect from all Kreg products.
