Maybe more smooth than Keith Stone.
So a few notes, I did end up getting mine ahead of release, I so far have tried the regular will probably try the vanilla later today, and possibly edit review based on how it is. I should probably add pictures as well. So first make sure this is chilled, and watch when you open. It does seem like a tiny bit of the soda does want to come out when you open the can. I can only assume this might have more gas in it compared to carbonated water, but it isn't like a crazy amount is trying to push its way out. I did not attempt to shake it with one of these cans being about $2 for 13.65oz; I don't want to waste it if it does blow under pressure. So I can say the visual of the product when poured as directed seems pretty accurate. The foam is fine, not the biggest fan but I can see it being a fun concept. When it comes to the taste, I am directly speaking about the regular on this part of the review as I have not tested the Vanilla yet, with this being a draft and partially due to them using nitrogen instead of carbon dioxide, this drink is smooth. You aren't hit with a large dose of bubbles like you are with the regular version, you might even sort of think it is flat, and with the foam you should be getting when you pour the product it certainly not flat. I think the concept of this product is geared more towards flavor than bubbles. I do believe this might the perfect drink for those who like a good cola, but don't always enjoy the bubbly sort of burning sensation you get drink a regular cola. Overall it is good. [Edit] I tasted the vanilla version, and can say it wasn't bad. I don't believe the vanilla takes away from the experience or really add to it in my opinion. I know the Vanilla flavor may not be as popular than the regular, can call it a gut feeling. But in my opinion it is worth trying as it is part of the experience.

Why isn’t all soda Nitro?!
This Nitro Pepsi is incredible! I’ve had some nitro dark beers in the past that I also thought were the best way to serve it, but had never heard of anyone doing it with soda, so I had to try it. Wow, the smooth, rich flavor and lack of “harsh” carbonation were fantastic approaches to mundane soda consumption. I rarely drink soda, especially non-diet (zero) versions, but just like treating yourself to an occasional ice cream cone for dessert, this is one more treat to consider! Just like the nitro beers, get it nice and cold and then enjoy the creamy, rich, sweet taste of the regular or vanilla options. I liked them both. Really blow your mind and make an ice cream float with it. Great product. I hope it hangs around for a long time.

Smooth, but too sweet
Most people in the US don't drink sparkling water, they do not realize carbonation adds bitterness (from being slightly acidic) which soft drinks offset with extra sugar. By changing the to nitro, it is a lot smoother drink, but it also lacks that bite of carbonation in the background. So with the same amount of sugar... it becomes too sweet, almost syrupy in flavor Essentially they need to significantly dial back the sugar to account for the lack of carbonation bitterness.

So yummy!
I wish they still had this. The taste is do so smooth and I love the different type of carbonation.

Delicious, my favorite cola
The carbonation is different, like a cask-conditioned ale compared to a regular beer. I would certainly not describe it as flat. Although the carbonation is less intense, the flavor is more intense, which is just what I wanted. I don't drink much soda, and when I do I want it to be something premium, and this is it. It's like cola for beer snobs, and I mean that in the most positive way!

Amazing and the best!
Pepsi made an amazing drink, one that helps people with digestive issues be able to enjoy soda again. Unfortunately they discontinued this and before its release I couldn’t have soda without it being flat or watered down. I like many cannot take process carbonated drinks well. It’s sad to see this go but the process gouging in the past month kept me from buying extra. I hope if anything another company starts doing soda the same way as Pepsi did.

It's unique, but not worth your time or money.
Put simply, this is meant to be poured in a way that it creates a head, and looks like a Guiness/stout. You can fool folks into thinking you are having a dark beer. A novelty for kids, I guess. Other than that, it's very flat Pepsi, as so many others have stated. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE Pepsi (Especially the 1893...BRING IT BACK!!), but you can achieve this same exact flavor by pouring a standard Pepsi in a glass, and then leaving it in your refrigerator for a few hours. The nitrogen is just here to make the foamy head, which disappears in just couple of minutes by the way, but doesn't carbonate the drink. It's still drinkable, but super flat. If you like colas with little to no carbonation, then you'll likely enjoy this. The lack of carbonation makes a sweet drink REALLY sweet as well. Look in the can and you'll see a large capsule attached to the bottom inside, this is where the nitrogen comes from. It's just 100% flat Pepsi and nothing more. Weird concept.

Not bad, just not worth the price
So I tried both the regular and vanilla Nitro Pepsi versions, and while they're fine, a nice change of pace from regular cola soft drinks, I don't think I'll be re-buying this. I did read some other customers' reviews after deciding to write one myself, and I realize a lot of them have similar thoughts to my own, but I'll add mine anyways. First, the nitro beverages are absolutely smoother than carbonated soft drinks. However, they inexplicably contain significantly more sugar, which is already a huge reason why these beverages are extremely unhealthy. More specifically, the Nitro Pepsi has a sugar content of 61 g/404 mL for a concentration of around 15.3% versus 11.5% (41 g/355 mL) for regular Pepsi (which is also roughly similar for other cola and non-cola soft drinks) meaning the Nitro version has about an extra third more sugar, which is very noticeable over the regular Pepsi which was already considered sweeter than Coke (which brings to mind the whole "New Coke" thing that I won't get into here.) The end result of the smoother & sweeter Nitro Pepsi is that, like others have mentioned, it strongly reminds me of flat cola; more precisely, it reminds me of when I used to get a large cola at the movie theater and then bring home the remainder (perhaps a full refill) but leave it (without ice) in the fridge for later. It would inevitably lose its carbonation, and it would often be sweeter in the first place than the bottled/canned equivalent of the same brand of beverage. So the Nitro Pepsi, while not being *identical* to flat/old Pepsi, is close enough where I don't think it's worth the price premium over "regular" carbonated cola. Also, the vanilla version is exactly as described: a vanilla-flavored variant of the same overly-sweet, smooth (but reminiscent of being flat) Nitro Pepsi. It's fine for what it is, but I've never been a huge fan of vanilla cola, maybe because it kind of blends in too much? (I prefer cherry colas for comparison.)
