it’s a clamp
I work in South Florida media. It’s sunny. This clamp works amazingly well with a light stand and an umbrella to shade you from the sun during outdoor press conferences.

Very good as expected
It's the real deal, well made.

Affordable, durable, straightforward.
What can I say? It's a baby-pin, it's a clamp, it's a big metal screw-thread with a knob. Does the job, very sturdy. Hard to mess it up, and glad they kept it cheap!

Not a Cardellini, but not bad.
I have several Cardellini clamps, and they are amazing. I saw this and gave it a try. It works pretty well, but is nowhere near the machine quality. It does work great for most stuff... I just wouldn't put as much weight on it as a real Cardellini. The threads are more broad and will loosen up for sure. If your rig is moving, I would use the real McCoy. If it is light and in a studio, this will work great.

Really Versatile
It’s a bit larger than expected, but works great in many situations. More than enough for todays LED lights.

Abysmal build quality
I just went to use it for the first time and the end snapped off after a few shots. Meanwhile the other clamp (Kupo branded) held up fine to the same stress and was longer.

mystically irreverent
I have used original Cardellinis, Matthews and all other big name units, these work as well as any of them. They are priced a bit cheaper which makes a difference if you plan on purchasing several hundred at a time. They don't take the place of a well balanced breakfast though, that's for sure.
