Childhood flavor
Grew up in Hawaii sucking on dried plums as a special treat. Hadn't had the flavor again till my 50's and a drink immediately transported me to childhood. Tracked it down and have been using it in anything I can think of. My latest creations being the margarita nature. Unique flavor and a little goes a long way. Happy I found this!

Onoliscious
I grew up in Hawaii. We used to go to the swapmeet on the weekends and get Li Hing pineapple. It is the only way I can eat fresh pineapple without my mouth suffering. I use this on oranges as well. It is amazing.

Li Hing Powder
Did not particularly care for flavor. Too tart for me and not enough sugar in powder blend. The brand I prefer was FAMILY brand Li Hing Powder that I purchased when I visited Hawaii. I ran out so decided to try the Jade Brand.

Easy to use and store
Item as described. Got this link from my sister in law since we can't find the right kind here in California and can't travel to Hawaii enough anymore. I was not disappointed. Great taste and the ease of use with the shake or pour bottle is unmatched. Definitely a pantry staple now.

Very high in sodium
790 mg of sodium in 1 teaspoon, so enjoy this in extreme moderation! The flavor is ok, not as strong as I was expecting, especially seeing how much sodium is in it.

Great on fruit
I lived in Hawaii for twenty years and don't remember ever trying this. Great taste, but it has saccharin, aspartame, red 40 and yellow 5 food dyes.
