I've had it a few months now and use it every day. I don't have any problem with the remote so far. It's physically quite adjustable which is very useful. It's very light. It's not falling over although it might lean a tiny bit. I move it around a lot but no issues with it so far. It has warm and cool lighting settings, five different brightnesses including a night light

I bought this lamp to replace a much larger and more expensive Ottlite floor lamp. I used the Ottlite for many years for fine, close work such as hand sewing, crafting, and crochet as well as a strong light to aid in the removal of splinters and other everyday home medical tasks. This lamp is much lighter than my Ottlite was, which is a good thing in my opinion. I haven't been smacked across the nose because it is very well balanced. It was not difficult to assemble. The remote control helps by fine-tuning the color and intensity of the light. I like that there are presets for various lighting tasks. All in all I am very impressed with this lamp and will order another one for myself. I think this would be a great gift for someone who crafts, does needle work, or reads. I heartily recommend this lamp!

It has been a great sturdy, bright sorce of light over our tall jigsaw table. The flexible neck ivery useful. The touch control is very convenient. I was amazed it came in such a small box and such light weight. It was so easy my grandpa was even able to assemble it.

Installation: Threading the power wire is somewhat "tricky". Lamp is excellent. Remote is very nice addition.

Well, that escalated quickly. But it’s true - I love this lamp! It is super-easy to assemble, it has amazing brightness, it’s the right size for most people, and the gooseneck works well, mostly - when you adjust the gooseneck it does loosen the rest of the stand which is every bit as annoying as it sounds. But that’s literally, not figuratively, the only con I have found with this lamp. Will it still be working in a year or two from now? Well, I have no way of knowing that since I’ve only been using it for a few days now but the price is cheap enough that, if it does stop working in a year or two, I’ll buy another to replace it. As half a cripple, I spend a lot of time sitting in my bed, and I have bought trays and laptop stands and stuff like that so when my pain becomes too severe I can move from my desk or table onto my bed and continue playing a game on my laptop, read a book or (even better) the Good Book or, one of my favorite hobbies, assemble Warhammer 40,000 and Age of Sigmar miniatures and models. Before I bought this lamp I had to turn on every darn light in my bedroom but still had a difficult time reading print or assembling my minis. Thanks to this lamp that is now no longer an annoyance. The lamp stands a good two feet over my bed and its highest setting is so bright that I have no issues seeing pages or where I need to cut and/or file on a miniature. It is flexible enough that I can easily adjust it to give me the maximum illumination no matter where I am sitting on my bed or when I am laying down. Again, the only con is that twisting the gooseneck will loosen the rest of the lamp and it has to be tightened a little as a result, but for the fantastic lighting it gives for such a cheap price I am more than willing to overlook such a minor aggravation. You also do not have to use all of the stand pieces if you don’t want to, making the lamp stand a good deal lower to the ground so it can be used in smaller places and could even be used as a desk lamp if you should so wish. The remote control is fantastic and it has several presets for varying levels of lighting and lighting ‘warmth’, as the orange-ish tint is said to be better at nighttime because it does not affect your ability to fall asleep as the brighter white-ish light does, and you can turn it to very bright or pretty dim according to your needs. It even has a timer if you’re like me and enjoy drifting off to sleep while reading a book. Easy to put together and works great. I liked it so much that I purchased a second for the other side of the bedroom. The nightlight mode is a great addition to the regular levels of lighting.

Lamps are easy to assemble and the quality was consistent between the two units I bought (i.e. good). They look great - sleek and unobtrusive. The surface finishes are nice and the touch buttons on the lamp are very responsive. Absolutely love the preset modes on the remote, I'd rather not spend the time trying to match both lamps in brightness and colour. The 1 hour timer button is also handy as a 'get ready for bed' reminder if I'm working on stuff on a weeknight. I paired both my lamps to a single remote, and it's the best thing ever! There is a key piece of info missing from the paper instructions however, which is that you have to unplug/turn the lamp off at the power source first. Once you turn it back on again you have 30 secs to press the nightlight and power buttons on the remote simultaneously. (FYI It's written on a sticker on the back of the remote). Once I did that it paired straight away. In response to other reviews, the bases are heavy enough to be stable for my purposes - on carpet, for a drawing table, tucked away behind a door where they're not likely to be knocked. If they were, they would wobble, but upright themselves. You'd have to give it a decent nudge to actually tip the lamp over.

This lamp has lasted me 3 years so far and has never failed me! Still works like the first day. Love all the different levels of brightness and dimming. I don’t really use the touch buttons except when I lose the remote. Best lamp I’ve owned hands down.

Il y a tellement de possibilités de réglages de l'intensité lumineuse et de sa température de couleur qu'il est pratiquement impossible de ne pas avoir l'éclairage souhaité. En service dans une chambre pour ma part. Pourrait aussi servir d'accessoire(s) à un photographe amateur. Bien la télécommande. L'allumage, l'extinction, les réglages sont aussi possibles directement sur le pied, à mi-hauteur, indépendamment de la télécommande. Facile à monter ... et à démonter en cas de déménagement. Solide, intemporel, orientable, multi-usage, j'en suis personnellement satisfait.

This lamp is sturdy, yet light weight and easy to move around. It was easy to put together and the light can be poised at an angle to suit the user. It has several different light settings suitable for various applications, from daylight right through to feeding baby, with the light brightness fully adjustable. The remote control is a definite bonus. It can help to set the mood of a room - the ‘coffee’ setting is regularly used near my dining table as it’s glow is soft and atmospheric. I actually bought this lamp as I was struggling with my needlework in the fading light of autumn and winter and needed something very close to bright daylight. Now, I simply wouldn’t be without it. It’s excellent value for money - compared with a very high end one my step mother has, the only difference was the price. I therefore highly recommend this lamp.

Just got one in white and love it so much am buying another. Easy to assemble. Sturdy. Perfect sleek size. Love the remote and integrated lamp buttons too. Offers lovely varied light. Will be using bed side to read in bed and not take up bedside table space.
