The review is just for the shipment. It is Digestive alright, fresh and crumbly, except that whoever is packaging for shipping for this seller may be thinking that the buyer needs help in crushing the biscuits for ‘cheesecake crust’. They were not padded and must have bounced around a lot during shipment that one was left licking at crumbs. Item is not returnable……

I am hooked on McVitie's Digestive Biscuits, but rarely can find them in my area stores, and then they're about $5 for the 14 oz. package. These are the real thing; the label is actually from the UK.It is a bit discouraging that it is necessary to pay double the price--they're 1 pound, 50 p on the label--to get them here in the states.

Very easy to digest and not too much flavoring or excessively sweet.

A cheese cake recipe specified these cookies, new to me, for the crust. New to me often piques my curiosity, hence the purchase. My conclusion is they are simply a version of our own honey grahams, although they do differ somewhat in that they are a thicker product being, at least, twice as thick as our graham crackers. Have not used them for the cheesecake recipe, but have already consumed one of the packages and found them to be fresh, quite tasty, and reasonably priced. In comparison to the Honey Maid grahams, I would give the Digestive Biscuits a slight edge, but as to whether they're worth the difference in time, money, and effort for use in the cheesecake crust, I doubt it. I don't recall where I came across the cheesecake recipe stipulating this product, but if it originated in the UK, it's understandable, otherwise I believe I would have to chalk it up to snob appeal and say to just use our graham crackers.that

My son love these cookies very but unfortunately lately we got them in a poor condition not wrapped like they used to be so it would be great if they are wrapped

The biscuits are good and all that but why increase the prices all the time. Constant increase in price baffles me.
