Great fit for amateur weekend mechanics
This harness made it so easy to go to an aftermarket radio system. Recently I decided to install a Pioneer receiver in my 2005 Nissan Altima. All you do is connect these two connectors to the factory connectors in your car (they match one to one so do not worry about mismatching them), and just match color to color between wires coming off of these and your new after market radio harness. It's that simple.Note: Sometimes you might be left with an extra wire that doesn't match with any of the wires on your aftermarket radio which is okay. In my case I soldered all the wires together with heat shrink tubing just to be sure. That was my personal preference (have experience soldering and wasn't comfortable with crimping connectors on each and every wire as the gauge of the Metra was different from the Pioneer pig tail).Worked perfectly and the radio started function as desired the first time.Note: I was very impressed by the heavier gauge of the wires that came with these connectors compared to the ones that were on the Pioneer harness.

A must if you are installing car stereo
A must if you are installing car stereo. Makes wiring part easy. Don't cut cars original wiring use the adapter and plug it in. You still have to wire it to new car stereo. Usually just matching up wire colors and using butt spices and electrical tape (easy) or solder and shrink tubing (more difficult). I've used butt splices for car stereos numerous times without any problems.

2009 Nissan Titan
Worked perfectly for my 2009 Nissan titan. My oem radio was a cd changer. This was plug and play. Connect color orientated cables to the after market plug/harness and done. Item was shipped and delivered next day. I couldn't be more satisfied.

Decent Quality, not compatible with 1990 Nissan D21 Hardbody
I didn't check to make sure this fit until after I had spliced it in with my new stereo's wiring harness. The listing says "select 1990-2005" indicates that it isn't compatible with ALL such vehicles. Turns out, the 1990 Nissan D21 "Hardbody" is not one of the select vehicles. Check the plugs in you car BEFORE splicing anything. All that being said, if you've got a compatible vehicle, the quality appears to be acceptable.

Functional
It works, but when I was plugging it in, the pins pushed out in a few spots and I had to reinsert them.

Perfect fit for my needs, 1995 Maxima Bose to non-Bose conversion
There are no bells or whistles to this harness. This harness is actually two pieces, basically divided into one set for rear speakers and the other for forward speakers, with a few wires thrown in for other functions. You will need to get your own splices and crimpers (or solder if you want to go that route), and make sure you're familiar with your wiring setup since 1 or 2 pairs may need to be joined to a single wire on the radio harness side. So don't be upset when not every wire has an exact match on the radio harness side.I replaced the stock Bose head unit and speakers and used this harness to splice into the new radio harness. If you're keeping your Bose speakers/amp then you'll probably need a PAC harness interface. For those that complain about no ground wire, it's because it most certainly comes off the radio harness side, not this harness. Now the most important thing: Amazon is NOT an auto parts store meaning, do your own research through the manufacturer on what specific harness is needed for your vehicle, THEN purchase it on Amazon. It ticks me off that Amazon makes it seem like they know what fits what car, but it ticks me off even more that consumers don't research their needs then blame the vendor when something doesn't fit. For car audio applications crutchfield may be your biggest friend to find what you need, like rockauto is for car parts.
