Easy to drive and set
These work the best of several types of concrete fasteners I have been trying lately so I can recommend them to others. They have large diameters compared to the size hole that needs to be drilled to screw them into place so that is a big plus. They screw in easily and get a good "bite" to secure their position. The smaller holes required helps speed up their use compared to the expanding end type of fastener AND they stay where you set them unlike the expanding end type.

Just what I needed
I used these to attach a gazebo through deck boards into concrete footing. Only finished a couple weeks ago. Already have had some Santa Ana winds and the gazebo doesn't move at all. The bolts felt very sturdy. They took a bit of torque to screw them down with a foot long socket wrench. But that made them fell very strong.

Not 3/8
Probably a decent anchor, but a 3/8" anchor means a 3/8" hole not a 5/16 which I now have to order, or send them back. Here's comparison next to actual 3/8

Work well, but 4” is too long for a horizontal application.
I used these to bolt down pallet rack at work. I should have bought an inch shorter. They work, but this size is too big do the Tapcon technique. You would need an extra long drill bit to go deep rough to open up the space and get the dust out in a horizontal application. I ended up having several that I could not get to drive all the way. If you were going horizontal, you might not have to fight the dust staying in the hole as much.
