Very impressed!
I was extremely skeptical at first as I was looking at the new OneWheel+ but that is 6 times the price and so far this Unicycle is a blast for the money! I have been a skateboarder, longboarder, wakeboarder, mountain boarder and this is a blast so far! It honestly took me 1-2 hours to figure out and I would say after 2 days and 15 miles on it I am still figuring it out a bit but man it is so smooth and just kind of mind-blowing. For the money, it is laughable that a company can produce something like this that puts a huge smile and I was laughing I was cruising through gravel, sticks, pinecones and rough pavement and trails and roads. I will say I have done some serious product testing for each mile I have put on this thing. I have not dropped it off a curb as I feel it might pop a tire or just damage something but I have rammed it into rocks, speed bumps and very rough terrain and trails. I was mobbing as fast as the sensor would let me (it kept telling me the whole way down the hill) and it was smoothly getting me down grass, rough dirt and gravel and then onto rough chipseal and terrible concrete roads. I will in Bellingham Washington and have traveled all over the place like LA and Seattle and Vancouver and that is why I got it was to explore cities I am traveling to as well as my own! I went out very early before work for about 1 hr and got about 4.5 miles on it, watched the sunrise from a new place I have never been right down the road from my own house. I cruised different roads on the way there and back from my morning destination and I must say I got to see my own neighborhood from many new perspectives on a nice summer morning. This Swagtron Swagroller Unicycle is shocking to me and well worth the money and I hope it lasts. Before using:- Fill tires a bit as mine were a bit low for my liking - I weight 135 pounds and ride off road a bit and rough concrete roads- Charge over 70% to connect to Bluetooth on the unicycle and phone - Not sure if it needed to or not but connecting for the first time seemed to help - Under 60% charge when shipped.- I did not use the training wheels but it did take me 1-2 hours to learn and I added a thin layer of padded cardboard that i cut to shape and then taped to the middle where the name is to the top as it will tip over and you will crash and I would do something to keep it from crashing on the plastic casing all day if you want it to last longer.- Find a large flat space like a garage or a school - I went to a school I knew had large parking lots and a lot of up and down ramps and curbs with a lot of little grass and gravel hits to properly test this thing out and find the balance points and traction- If it grinds or makes weird noises - I would say the tires are not pumped up enough for your weight as they are not the best quality tires and if you weight a bit more they may flex and hit the plastic casing or inside the body somewhere. As I was riding I noticed if I hit a big bump the tires would flex and go (whoomp) or a (squeeeek) and you could tell the tires were hitting something internally. To fix it I inflated them another 5-8 pounds with a bike pump as there are inflating tubes if you look carefully. If you pop the tire I am not sure if you would be able to change yourself or if you would have to send back I would have to unscrew more pieces to know that. ALSO, I did get sticks, rocks, and crap inside the plastic casing on the bottom and you would hear terrible noises until removed!!! I was able to get a separate stick and remove the grinding rocks and sticks that occasionally got in there but to get those items stuck in there you would be laughing as hard as I was because I knew something would happen after the crap I rolled over!!!

The Mercedes of self balancing unicycles.
The Mercedes of self balancing unicycle. This is my fourth Wheel I've invested in. Yes, I love them and use them daily. I always have one in my cars to use whenever, and I do for any and most occasions. Shopping at Wal-Mart for instance, visiting at the hospital, parking far away from somewhere, etc.If you've ridden other brands like Airwheel or Rockwheel or other poplar brands, riding this will pose certain challenges. The 1st challenge, thinking you're a pro and that you can just step on it and be natural. Well yes, but there's a new learning curve. Here's why.It has 2 wheels. Turning is very different, I mean totally. If you think about it, 2 wheels together don't turn easily. And these 2 wheels are locked together. So how does it turn. They've designed an electrical differential, yes, and you can feel it. One wheel is supplied a little more juice than the other making it turn nicely. Now the single wheel ones turn by tilting it a bit enabling the edge of the wheel to turn, like a spinning coin on its edge.So throw that technique out with this 2 wheel model. Because it truly sensors your slightest adjustment to turn. How say? It can tell where your head is, so to turn, simply looking where you want to go makes it follow. The body naturally makes minor adjustments as your head turns, and the Swag Roller uses that. The learning curve is at first not to look around as you wheel. Rather learn how to look but don't let the wheel feel it, unless you want to go that way.So after a while, you can really power into turns. Though it's a little unnerving because the wheel doesn't tilt like a single wheel does in a turn. So you kinda go around corners with a straight pose.UnfortunateIy, after riding this for a while, getting back onto a single wheel model is like driving a BMW after driving a Mercedes. Ouch, how many folk did I just annoy... Oops. But it's true. This is like a Cadillac, so smooth, stable and just feels safe. Whereas the others are life, wow I gotta actually balance again. What's also sweet is being able to stand still at a stop. Yes, it does take balance, but you'll be able to. I learnt to riding an elevator. Once inside gong up, keeping balance was simple because you're in motion going up or down. Yes I ride this everywhere.Another sweet thing is is telescopic handle. It is awesome. Because the wheel holds itself up it takes no effort to carry it if security tells you to get off.Which is what they said at the entrance to the local ER. Walking with it by my side got such amazing comments from nurses and doctors. "Wow, that's so cool, what is it?"It looks like you're own R2D2 unit next to you, lights flashing and stuff. You can change the light patterns but you can't have them off. There's an option to turn them off, but then they are all solid green displaying the charge of the batteries. At least with the light effects they move in relation to your direction. When you pick it up, there's a switch in the handle that temp disables the motor, and shows you the battery level by the garden lights. However, if the switch doesn't disable and you pick it up, the motors turn and it will announce in the loudest voice, "Please Slow Down"There is no way of disabling that feature and it is highly embarrassing. Everyone turns to look, and you go from cool to fool in a second. The front headlight works perfectly. You can ride easily in pitch black. It turns on by pressing the power button twice quickly or via the Bluetooth app. After riding, I give the power button a quick press to go into standby. I never fully power it down as it doesn't turn on that easily for some reason. It just doesn't seem to respond. I've found it needs to be standing up, foot pegs open and good luck for it to turn on, so I just put it in standby instead. That also makes it easy to connect to it whenever you want. It's kinda cool how it suddenly comes alive, you can even turn its light on. And if you alter its balance settings, can make it roll in a straight line. Great for freaking visitors out by secretly connecting to it.Because I'm good, I haven't got a scratch on it yet and I've had it for 6 months. It is heavier than others and takes longer to charge, but holds a charge longer.I goes fast enough, once you master it's turning feature, because at speed it will turn easier than others which can be freaky.Yes it recommend it. On sale for $299 is worth it. Mine arrived in perfect working order and the tires do not deflate at all over time. It doesn't make the grinding sound others complain about, so seems they sorted all that out.Happy rolling, and enjoy everyone's comments as you look super cool riding it. (Well at least I seem too)

High hopes, but disappointed!!! Defective Wheel, POOR customer service from MFG!!!!
The media could not be loaded. Purchased this for my son as a gift. We are both familiar with EUC's and have ninebot/segway S1's and the original ninebot One E models. Packaging was nice, and the wheel looked nice as well (basically the same style and the inmotion V3/mohawk). Charged it, and turned it on. My wife tried it out (150lbs) in the house, and there was an instant metal rubbing/grinding noise every time the wheel rotated. Checked tire pressure on both tires (which was good), and gave it another try. Read another review that basically said the same thing happened to them.I understand that mfg flukes happen, and so I emailed swagtron directly (with pics and a video with the sound) for feedback.......WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!! Note, they weren't rude....they just don't seem to care about how their products are received by consumers. They offered no explanations, apologies, or solutions....other than send it back for repair (which would be about a 20-30 day process). I had an issue with Segway, and they literally did everything in their power to make it right!!! Sometimes products have issues.....but how a company handles those issues is PARAMOUNT IMO!So, as another reviewer has stated, this model is obviously a bad batch, and is defective (They all come from china BTW). If you have never ridden an EUC, or aren't familiar with them......NOTE: They should run smoothly with NO RUBBING, GRINDING, or CLICKING!Will Return (thank heaven for Amazon Prime)!!! First and Last time purchasing a Swagtron/ Swagway product!
