Had the Otterbox glass......and read other reviews for tempered glass protectors.....they have issues on the S8+ or anything with curved screen. Just the nature of the beast. Switched to the defender protector after dust kept getting under the Otterbox glass. Couldn't be happier. I don't know what kind of strange magic they use....but bubbles will disappear on their own. The wrap around design is perfect.....no lifted edges. Follow the instructions and install is a breeze. Just make sure.....no dust when installing! I use the stovetop fan or steamy bathroom trick, and no dust under the protector. For the price....you cant go wrong. My only gripe would be I wish the adhesive was a littler stronger....when using my clamp kickstand it will grip the screen protector and make a bubble....5 minutes later...bubble gone. Also, the screen feel is a lot tackier than glass is, that's just how the film types are. It does its job well. Stays on the screen, protects it, no sensitivity issues, and great screen clarity. Best I've found for the price. Using an Otterbox Commuter, fits perfectly. Also happy with a dry install. Talking to co-workers.....they've had issues with S7 edge protectors.....wet, dry, or glass.....everyone I talk to that's upgraded to the S8 has bought this protector as well.....

Great Protector with some caveats.I think Ringke has some really great no frills products out there. It's part of what has led me to use quite a number of their cases over the past few years. They focus on the product not the fluffy packaging that ends up adding more cost to the item that item itself costs to produce.That said, they kind of fell short on this product in the extras area. From reading the other reviews and the instructions I kind of thought this was a stiffer polymer screen protector that wrapped around the sides simply because it needed to for holding curve portion of the screen down. This is not the case. The protector is actually a very flexible material that is more along the lines of the Zagg or Armorsuit "self-healing" protectors that gets sandwiched between stiffer discard materials, although so far it doesn't seem to exhibit the orange peel effect that some others do. I wish I had realized this before I began the install, and I believe Ringke would do themselves and their customers a great service in altering their installation instructions.I know why Ringke used this method as it made lining up the protector super easy. It even went down pretty decently, initially. Although I didn't use their undersized squeegee. I used one I had left over from an Armorsuit install. Then, as others have noted things got less pleasant. In very carefully and slowly peeling off the top protective discard layer it pulled loose the screen protector itself and left many bubbles. At this point I realized I was dealing with the material similar to what many others do with a wet install. This is what saved my install. I quickly grabbed the spritzer bottle from the a fore mentioned company and proceeded to pull one half up at a time so as not to screw up the alignment and sprayed and squeegeed the main portion of the protector until most of the bubbles were out. Of course this gave an opportunity for dust to enter in... Will update if those go away. Just finished about 10 minutes ago. Next I lightly warmed the side portions with the heat gun on lowest setting before peeling off the discard layer and squeegeeing them down and around to the back. At this point I am letting it cure overnight.Now with all those issues so far it appears to be clearer than my previous protector, time will truly tell.In summary: Great recommended protector, that has been hampered by a somewhat flawed installation method as currently presented. If Ringke could find away to keep the discard layers and include a better squeegee, as well as liquid or at least let people know that liquid will be required for a good, clean install that would be a good thing. Of course then we get back to that first point I made about packaging and extras adding cost...Will update as I have more experience with this one.

I haven't had a good screen protector for my S8+ since I bought it because the edges peeled up. I finally found this one and was thrilled and ordered it right away. It was easy enough to install (no hard than any other dry install protector, certainly) and I installed mine in a steamy bathroom and so prevented any dust. The wrap around is quite cool- the cutouts fit perfectly and I've had it on for almost a month without any significant lifting on the edges. The visibility is good - I haven't noticed any rainbow effect except when there's grease or something on the phone (see below) and I haven't noticed any scratching.HOWEVER- the material this protector is made of SUCKS. For some reason, the applied screen protector feels extremely tacky and sticky to my finger tips. My fingers don't slide across the screen at all, it's very tacky. It gathers and shows fingerprints more than any screen protector I've ever used on any phone- and not just fingerprints, also sweat, grease, oils from your fingers- it gathers and shows it all. It's sticky enough that if I hold it and a piece of paper in the same hand, the paper will stick. Moving my fingers across the screen is horrid. I've tried applying Smitty's Glass Wax to it, which I've used to great effect on all the phones I've ever had, and it hardly improves the feel at all, and what improvement there is doesn't last.I don't know if the design necessitates this awful material but it's a real bummer to finally find one that works on the curve only for it to be so sticky to the touch.

I've tired several tempered glass products and they have all been problematic due to the curved display.This screen protector is absolutely amazing. It wraps around the sides of the phone for full coverage and prevents lifting. It was easy to install and is bubble free. In my opinion, stay away from the glass protectors and give this one a try.My only complaint is the film feels a little sticky, but it's probably because I've been so used to glass protectors in the past.

Anteriormente le puse varios vidrios templados y ninguno le duró porque las fundas los levantaron. Este protector, a pesar de ser plástico y no vidrio, quedó perfecto pues los cortes de las esquinas y los laterales que se adhieren hasta el reverso del teléfono hacen que quede de tal forma que no interfiera con las fundas.Me quedaron algunas burbujas que ya por más que intenté no pude sacarlas, pero es verdad que a los días desaparecieron. Para centrar y colocar adecuadamente me guíe por los cortes para los botones laterales y los de los sensores frontales, cámara y bocina. Por el precio y calidad está más que perfecto, en un sólo paquete vienen 2 protectores, así que tienes un repuesto.Compralo, no lo dudes!

No es verdad que se sienta pegajoso, yo intenté con muchas micas para proteger mi s8 plus, y ningúna es tan segura y conserva la resolución de la pantalla mejor que ésta, desliza perfecto, vale cada centavo.

This is a screen protector. Screen protector installation requires patience and skill. Ignore stupid people who say it's too hard to install. The wrap around feature is really nice. My Otterbox defender (amongst other cases) are always rubbing up on the edges where most screen protectors stop thus lifting the screen protector and allowing dust/debris to build causing further lifting. This one is made of the gummier material, which I find slightly irritating when I swipe. The gummy type protectors "heal" so scratches and so on tend to disappear which is a plus for me. By far the best screen protector to date for me at least.

Es buena mica , envuelve bn el teléfono en sus lados curvas, fácil aplicación. Pero Le doy una calificación baja pues todos estos puntos buenos no sirven de nada cuando te das cuenta q la consistencia pegajosa que queda en la mica no se quita con nada. X ello se graban los dedos en la pantalla y no se pueden deslizar bn. Terminó x hartarme. Decidí quitárselo de una vez después de justo una semana creo tiempo suficiente para quitarle esto tan tan incómodo. Intenté con agua con jabón con alcohol con cloro pero nada funciona para quitar el pegoste q se siente y q hace q usar el móvil sea frustrante .Creí q había encontrado la mejor mica pero así sin poder deslizar la yema de los dedos x la pantalla del galaxy es imposible así q sinceramente no la recomiendo.
