My favorite socks!!
I’m a 54 year old female mail carrier with rheumatoid arthritis. I had worn the Thorlo ankle socks for several years, and hated my tan lines. But they were the only socks that gave me thick, solid cushioning and moisture wicking for the blistering summer heat, so I dealt with the funny tan lines. Until I tried these!! They are so, so comfy, and perfectly no show. The rolled back is perfect to keep the back of my shoe from rubbing or irritating, and they absolutely don’t bunch down off my heel into my shoe, like many other no-show socks live tried. Quality, comfort and function, these are THE BEST!!

Best socks for tennis players
I have been playing tennis for years. I purchased Thorlos socks a while back and they were comfortable and made a difference in preventing the typical toe injuries sustained from playing. The price of the socks deterred me from purchasing again. That is until this year! I bought 5 pairs because I was reminded of what a difference they made - heel comfort, toe protection. Yes they are expensive but worth the money if I want to continue playing. Put them on your wish list for a birthday gift or Christmas gift if they’re too pricey. You won’t be sorry

Now your Thorlo's look great with black tennis shoes.
I've been using Thorlo's for years for tennis. They are comfortable, and prevent blisters. But they were any color as long as it was white. Now they have black! Looks great with black tennis shoes.

great sock but way too thick for my needs
Only buy if you need a VERY thick sock. Because they were labeled tennis socks, I hoped they would be less thick/cushioned then the max cushion running socks thorlo makes, but these are as thick or thicker than the thickest thorlo running socks I own. They are way too thick to fit comfortably in the shoes I wear for tennis, but I like everything else about them including the fit and material. I found a light cushion thickness for tennis on Thorlo's website, so will probably order directly from thorlo instead of amazon for the next pair.

Thorlo Rolltop
I have been buying these very high quality socks for years, and absolutely love them. I wear a size 9 shoe and the men's large fits perfect. They have cushion on the bottom and the top (area where shoes lace-up) is not too thick. They are made for tennis, but I wear the rolltop mostly for summer golf in Texas (reg length during the fall & winter). I keep probably 10-12 pair in rotation at all times and keep 3 new pair ready to go into rotation. They are a little expensive, but can usually be bought for just under $10/pair (incl shipping), when you buy 3 pair. During the spring & summer, I wear the rolltop 4 - 5 times per week, and I'm still wearing socks I purchased at least 5 yrs ago. I do suggest that you take a pair with you when buying shoes; if your shoes are snug with thin socks, you may not be happy. Although, I did not need to up-size my golf shoes for these socks. As for running shoes, experts suggest that runners buy their shoes at least a half size larger than street shoes anyway.

Most comfortable socks ever!
I have foot problems. Specifically, Achilles tendinitis and ankle pain. These socks with the roll down top protect my heels and ankles, are heavily padded, and really protect my ankles and tendons. My podiatrist recommended them, as well as shoes a half size larger and wider. These socks are thick, which is what I wanted. I upsized shoes from an 8 1/2 B to a 9 D. So much better!

great golf sock
After watching several YouTube videos looking for a way to prevent black toe, I ran across a podiatrist that recommended thick socks. The gold Thorlos are thickest sock they make and these are working out very well, so far. I have played 3 rounds of golf, walking the course each time. I have not had any issues with black toe, which have plagued me for years. It takes a combination of the right shoe and sock and correct lacing technique, but you can check one of those boxes with these socks
