Different feel from other earplugs, I like it.
Very comfortable. They feel a bit sticky after first use, but that does not bother me. I have using these for decades, and tried many other ear plugs, none were as comfortable to work/sleep/live with for me. I always have a little box of them in my pocket because I am sensitive to loud noises and end up using them several times most days; I also go to music synthesizer trade shows, they help make that experience enjoyable.

Just what I’ve been looking for.
I was extremely surprised on how it blocks the noise. I definitely recommend this product. I’ve tried other products/ear plugs and did not work as well as this.

Most comfortable and effective ear plugs on the market!
Best ear plugs that I have found for comfort, noise cancellation and overall effectiveness. I spend over 100 nights a year on the road year and have tried every major brand of ear plugs. These don’t fall out like the foam plugs or get tangled in my hair like the silicone ear plugs and last twice as long as either of these. You do need to remove the cotton wrapping! I massage the plugs with my fingers to warm the wax and they then conform to my ear for maximum sound-proofing. As my ear canals are small, I divide two plugs into three smaller ones for maximum comfort.

The cotton is weird
They’re ok. They come with this weird cotton around them which you’re supposed to remove before using. It’s tedious to get off and you can’t remove all of it. Then you squish them to make them pliable and basically seal your ear canal with them. At that point they feel greasy and oily which is not my favorite. They work pretty good to keep sound out.Idk I bought similar ones at my local pharmacy that don’t have the weird cotton and don’t have the weird oily feel and work as well if not better. Same concept without the weirdness. Not buying these again.

Can still hear snoring
Although these are comfy and fit to your ear because they are warmed up and fit into place when used as directed they don’t really effectively block noise. My husband snores and needs a fan on. I can still hear both. Still looking for the right product.

Much More Comfortable Than Silicon or Foam Ear Plugs
I purchased the Ohropax Wax Earplugs based on comfort looking at other websites and their recommendations. I found that 4 out of the 5 websites that I went to, recommended Ohropax over other brands based on the comfortability factor. I was willing to sacrifice a little bit of noise reduction dB for comfortability. Traditional Earplugs block out about 30+ dB whereas the Wax Ear Plugs are rated for 23 dB noise reduction. When I received the Ohropax Wax Ear Plugs, I opened the container that the plugs come in, and I must say, was a little confused as to why the plugs were covered in cotton, but that's just to protect them from getting dirty. All you have to do is remove most of the cotton (You probably will not remove ALL of the cotton, but 95% or so is suficient enough), and mold the wax plugs into a ball and place them in your ear canal, and push the wax into your ear canal. The wax will shape to your canal. The feeling is a little weird at first, and going to bed with them in your ears is a little weird/discomforting at first, but you'll adjust after a couple of nights. I don't even notice that they're in anymore. It's even a little weird for me when I'm visiting my girlfriend's place and NOT using them. The directions that come in the container recommend only using the plugs once, but I use them way more than one time. I'd say I get about 2-4 weeks use out of each set of plugs before they get dirty, or hair gets into them, or ear wax buildup shows up on them. The first set of plugs I used, I stored them on top of the container, but I only got about a week or two use out of them. I suggest storing your current set of plugs in the container to keep them clean, and extend their life. The reason I was looking into earplugs in the first place was my noisy neighbors above me in my apartment. My ears are pretty sensitive while in bed, so I hear just about everything. Car doors slamming shut, footsteps, conversations, etc. The only thing I can hear is when there's a loud thud above me, but I've already diplomatically squashed that issue with my upstairs neighbors, so that's not much of an issue anymore. I place these babies into my ear, and have a little fan next to my bed going at the same time for a little white noise, and I sleep through the night.I would very much recommend these to anyone that has trouble sleeping, and your ears are a bit sensitive when going to bed. Just remember that it'll be a bit weird at first going to bed, so take the plugs with a grain of salt at first, and don't give up on them immediately. These are wayyyyy more comfortable than foam or silicon ear plugs. If you have any questions about the product, feel free to ask!

Love these!
I've used ohropax products for years and these are the best ear plugs they've developed so far. As a German I am familiar with this family owned company that's been around for a long time. It is known to make quality products. I first used the cylindrical earplugs that are twisted and placed into the ear and they worked well but somehow there was still a little too much noise coming thru on my left ear (maybe the ear canal is shaped different from the right? They did the job well enough for a long time. On a visit to Germany a couple of years ago I found these wax plugs which I guess are a newer design. On my very first use I was amazed how much more noise they eliminated. They are pleasant to wear since they are outside the ear canal and so far have stayed in place all night. I'm glad I found them on Amazon to buy since the ones I bought a couple of years ago are becoming a little worn. Highly recommend them.
