I bought this as I now struggle to see to paint my nails! This does the trick. The brightness and magnification is enough. When finished I select a different hue and leave it on as a room lamp. Wish I had read about having to screw it to a base and it not being free standing but that is my fault.

I was surprised at the size of the lamp. The whole thing was bigger than I expected. It does exactly what it says it will do. 3 types of light and the arm is adjustable in lots of ways to get the perfect angle.Only loses one star as it would benefit from a flat desk stand as well as a clamp. It's not always possible to clamp it to things. Also the felt pad on the clamp designed to protect your furniture pulls apart after only a couple of uses.All in all a very good buy

Sturdy with good magnifying and light options (colours and brightness).

I am using for hand sewing and cross stitching.....Only had the lamp for one day and I am so impressed. Love it.

Having used it daily for 3months I can attest to the poor quality.The power adapter makes an uncomfortably low wining noise, even on low brightness.Now after 3 months the blue LEDs stopped working.Pretty much a waste of hard earned cash.

Light was very good, the glass was nice and clear with great magnification.However, one day it suddenly does not turn on any more after 11 months of use. The blue light is on on the controls but nothing I do turns the lamp on.I have tried using different power adaptors and everything.

Liked item for ease of use, i used the product for model making.
