It’s a good solid beginner set that comes with a pair of racquet, 2 pickle balls and a back pack to carry the set. It’s on the higher end because of the Joola brand but reasonable enough if on Sale for less than $100. Overall, a good quality set, everything you need if you’re new to the sport or a casual player.

Bought the Joola Essentials set (2 paddles, 2 balls, carrying case) on a Prime Day deal and it is a great value for the money. Even at regular price it would be a good deal. The paddles are much better than the cheap discount store paddles I bought previously. They have a good, solid feel to them and the grips are nice. I am sure if I progress to a more competitive level I will eventually want something with a bit more "pop," but for recreational play these are tough to beat for the money.

Just a beginner so I didn’t want to break the bank in case it was just a phase. I played with people who had much more expensive paddles than me and they gave them the thumbs up. The paddles have held up and I like that it came with the bag. For a casual player I think the value exceeds the price.

Purchased this as a used set. Items were in new to almost new condition. One of the paddles had a small dent on one side; however, it does not affect the performance. Very happy with purchase and saved quite a bit of $ buying used.

The paddle is light and has a good grip on the hand. The paddle produces a light crisp that feels like a sweet spot. It has good for all level of players and it really depends on what feel you are looking for. I like these paddles because it is versatile and good for over all play.

Great quality, nice starting kit

This is a great starter set for someone interested in trying Pickleball - and it should be a good option as they progress into a middle level skill set. Liked the fact that it came with a sling bag and a couple balls as well. Not a flashy set, but effective and great for folks just starting... BTW, I am brand new to Pickleball, and these paddles did not make me a superstar - gee the people in the pictures look like they are having fun and are good at the game - not how I looked at all... But buy the set and have fun - great exercise!

On sale this is a nice value considering you also get a couple balls, and a bag which is nice. I wear a size small golf glove and my pinky hung off the end to hold comfortably.

I just started learning to play. It suits me perfectly. The ball bounces about where I expect it to. The next racket is for my wife. She likes it, but still not tried to play

Bought the set on sale for just under $100CAD. Used as extras for our kids and friends. Paddles are great for intermediate players. Short handle: standard size, grip feels good. Large surface with good sweet spot, good control and good power. This is a great all-type paddle for players who know how to play, bit maybe do not yet have a predefined style of paddle. The bag is nice. Fits 3/4 paddles + couple balls. Hook is very useful to hang it by the court fences. The single handle can go on right or left shoulder. The 2 outdoor balls included are Ok and can do the job for a few sessions. Highly recommend for the sale price I paid ($100CAD). At $150, there may be other good options for 2 paddles, but it would still be a good set.

My partner and I have just started playing pickleball and this sets really came in handy as it comes with two paddles, two balls and a convenient bag that holds it all together. I wish the handle was slightly longer but otherwise it works as advertised!

Paddles feel to be of good weight and comfortable to grip. Yet to play proper game with it but hitting the balls in the air few times, feels good. Hope it is good enough to last quite awhile even after becoming more than beginner level. Good price and set comes with bag. Would recommend if looking for entry level to start with
