I have the iPad Air 5th generation and I got this case in “Marine Blue”. The quality is good and the case fits, as I expected. The edges of the iPad aren’t protected, but the case looks really good. The iPad and case are literally magnetic to each other so it was extremely easy to put on. Overall, the case is pricy but I would recommend for anyone wanting a sleek and good quality case for their iPad.

Apple undeniably makes the best accessories for their own devices - this fits both the Air 4 and Air 5. The encumberance is negligible and the fit is perfect. I have a tempered glass screen protector that’s decently thick, but the cover piece still attaches with exceptional magnetic strength. If you’re buying an Apple folio, don’t be worried about the quality. You know you’re getting the best by default. If protection is your main concern, the folio may not be for you. Scratches aren’t a problem, but there is virtually no drop protection. Your iPad is basically cooked if you have poor grip. The biggest gripe I have with it personally is the annoyance that is cleaning the folio. It’s the typical Apple polyurethane that looks beautiful but wicks all of your dirty hand grease as if the intention was to grow a virulent microbiome to give your tablet some character. You’ll find yourself making a habit of constantly washing and wiping your hands on your trousers just to spare your lowly folio the tragedy that is letting your sweaty and disgusting finger oil seep into this oversized agar plate. Figure out a cleaning routine for this thing, because once you get a few months of grime and muck there’s no reviving your once gorgeous and pristine folio. Otherwise, it’s a worthy buy if you have the money. The difference in quality and functionality is instantly noticeable over any competing third parties, and it feels like a natural extension of the device. It does Smart Folio things! This was fortunately marked down to the price I'd consider paying. Sure it's white. I'm absolutely positive I don't want anything I keep in a bag, in the color white. The only thing I don't want more than a white case is literally spending $80 on a more desirable color for this case (also, can we have a talk?).Are there better cases? Absolutely. Is this the case format I inexplicably want because I mindlessly bought into the Apple ecosystem as a result of a career free-floating around design, with the promise of unique apps and implementations, and am currently brainwashed? Undoubtedly. Do I regret it? Nah. I mean as it stands it matches my Apple Pencil and Airpods case. Matching my Air to my MacBook Pro... everything has this nifty white and grey theme that looks aesthetically pretty solid. If you want something thin and pretty versatile, and have/plan on getting a protective sleeve, or alternatively don't take the iPad out of the house and have carpet flooring, the price on white is pretty chill.Thanks, Amazon.
