Great Value for Money
This is a great price for this CPU, and a serious contender if you're going to be buying a discrete GPU and building your own PC. Ryzen 7 5700X offers great base speeds with lots of cache on 8 cores, and will happily accept some tweaking and overclocking. Some folks have worried about CPU bottlenecking with higher-end GPUs, but this works very well with a 7900XTX, and bottlenecking is only going to be an issue with huge GPU demand and a lot of back-end processes or demand placed on the CPU. Cyberpunk 2077 in 4k at 200fps? Easy. This is a GREAT mid-range CPU, and the L3 cache (one of AMD's cornerstones) is the same as most of the 7000 series Ryzen processors. However, with it not being a flagship model, most lower- and many mid-ranged motherboards may not support the chip straight out of the box. But don't let that deter you..... If you opt for a motherboard like mine (MSI) and face a similar issue - needing to update firmware/BIOS - don't worry. Follow the video guides on YouTube and in manuals and you'll be fine. But remember: format a new, small USB2 drive in FAT32, Google is your friend for this and for checking a partition is MBR (if you're very particular), download the exact version of BIOS required, and rename the file AND extension as directed. If you then boot from a Windows Installation Media drive, you'll get a fresh install of Windows without any bloatware or rootkits from any device manufacturer! Very easy to install - be gentle and cautious (and consider an antistatic wristband), line up the triangles, and don't force anything. Stability is a proven strength, and Ryzen Master is a good monitoring tool; the CPU voltage remains constant after idling for several hours with core temperature peaking at 30°C. Make sure you apply the thermal paste evenly, making sure to avoid leaving a blank spot. Appearance-wise? It's a chip. In an unnecessarily large box. Clean install of Windows 11 and up-and-running in less than an hour. Don't forget this chip DOESN'T HAVE INTEGRATED GRAPHICS AND DOESN'T COME WITH A STOCK COOLER, but let the CPU do CPU things and invest in a GPU of your choice. Plus, if you're opting for a CPU without integrated graphics, you'll probably be doing something with the cooling, right? As others have said (and this review highlighted previously), there must be some issue with the Amazon/seller/logistics/delivery process. I had multiple notifications about updates to tracking, but nothing informative on the Amazon platform. I was told, multiple times, that it had been dispatched, or tracking information was available, which did cause me some distress and confusion when seeing other reviews. I strongly suspect there's some issue between the vendor's platform, Amazon, tracking/delivery service, and how their systems speak to each other.

Powerful Processor for a Smooth Gaming Experience
I recently built a gaming PC for my son using the AMD Ryzen 7 5700X Processor, and it has exceeded our expectations. With 8 cores and 16 threads, this processor delivers outstanding performance for gaming and multitasking. The 65W TDP ensures it runs efficiently without overheating, even during intense gaming sessions. The 36 MB cache and up to 4.6 GHz max boost provide lightning-fast speeds, making gameplay incredibly smooth and responsive. While it doesn't come with a cooler, we paired it with a high-quality aftermarket cooler, and it has worked perfectly. The compatibility of the Ryzen 7 5700X with the AM4 socket made the installation straightforward and hassle-free. Plus, the value for money is exceptional – we're getting high-end performance at a competitive price point. My son has been thrilled with the performance of his new gaming PC. It handles all the latest games with ease and offers excellent frame rates and graphics quality. I highly recommend the AMD Ryzen 7 5700X Processor to anyone looking to build a reliable gaming rig.

Excellent and cost efficient
It works perfect with 5060 Ti, doesn't create a bottleneck. High compatibility with MSI tomahawk B550 wifi, 5060Ti. Low temperature, good thermal durability

excellent mid range cpu for gaming and productivity
I’ve used this processor in a gaming and general use build and it performs very well. It handles multitasking and modern games smoothly, with strong efficiency and stable thermals when paired with a decent cooler. Overall, a very solid upgrade option for AM4 systems that still holds up really well.

A Truly Amazing Processor
At only 65w TDP this CPU is over twice as fast as my 2700X which is 105w TDP and is twice as fast as the intel 8700K Most people would agree that the 5700X is the CPU to choose over the 5700X3D due to being able to achieve higher clock speeds and having much lower temperatures in operation. mines running at stock clocks at an amazing 1.22v with no extra load line calibration (LLC) it auto boosts all cores to 4.65GHz and stays there until the load drops. Its also worth noting that it has twice the L3 cache of the 2700X and its L1 cache is 2.5X faster I havent played about with the infinity cache yet but im using 3600MHz corsair RGB ram so it should be set to 1800MHz Im using a cheap CPU cooler with a center 92mm Fan and its never going over 65C Got mine running on an MSI B550M VDH motherboard with an MSI 5700XT MECH graphics card, i couldnt be happier, its running lightning fast. In a nutshell, intel have had their day, their cpus are dying very quickly (degradation) this has never happened to me with any AMD processor. My 2700X is still perfect and was purchased in 2019, its been running daily since june 2019 without a single problem.

Fast and great value cpu
Really happy with this cpu, I don't use this for AAA games and it doesn't sweat with what I throw at it. Currently playing games at 2k res and it's more than happy despite what the developer specs state.

A remarkable low powered AM4 upgrade.
An 8-core 16-thread Zen 3 champion for less than your typical R5 chip. A surprisingly good upgrade from a R5 3600 for me (using a 4070). And it makes for a far more cost effective option compared to AM4s Halo chip the 5800x3D. Since you get 90% of that performance for almost half the price. Partnered with the fact it's a 65w chip that boosts to maybe 85w max. It's easily coolable, maybe not stock cooler level, but definitely a cheaper alternative like the Hyper 212. Despite me being at 1440p, this improved a LOT of titles. Games like Battlefield with their high CPU requirements can finally touch 100+ FPS consistently. Or TLOU and it's now semi-broken port, finally functioning as it was intended (DLSS didn't do anything prior to this upgrade due to an immense bottleneck). It's a phenomenal chip and equally fantastic upgrade. An aging king for a top class platform.

Energy Efficient
Switched out my old 6 core Ryzen to this one that gives me 2 more cores and uses less power. So less heat to have to get rid of and utilizes certain tasks better with the 2 extra CPU cores. So I'm putting off the need to upgrade my motherboard/memory beyond AM4 (or at least for now...)

Home server
I bought this because it supports ECC, too bad there's no onboard graphics so you need to buy a cheap GPU.
