2018 my new teen needed a new big bed and I shopped around - a ton! Decided to try buying a mattress online for the first time and took a chance on this one. It had what I wanted which was some level of being organic (without costing $1000), soft and obviously comfortable. We were impressed when it arrived and unfurled it. Allowed it to plump up for a couple days and she’s been sleeping peacefully ever since! Along with jumping and dancing and eating and spilling and loading it up with a gaggle of girls for slumber parties and it has held up completely to all of it and looks and feels like new still. I’m only back here as I’m now seriously considering getting one for myself this time around! Well worth its price!

Okay... I’ve been on this mattress over a week now and at first I had a love hate relationship with it. Prior to buying, I had a sleep number that was very old and had given out. So while mattess shopping I had actually been sleeping on the couch. My body was in pain but I loved soft comfort. THIS mattress is more so on the firm side. I put two pillow toppers on it because the one I ordered wasn’t very fluffy (so I added my old one).The first night I couldn’t get comfortable but once I fell asleep, I don’t remember a thing! No dreaming or anything! The next few nights I was the same way. Took a moment to get comfy... so I bought a body pillow! I’m so used to soft that I wasn’t sure how I felt about this.BUT here is the positive side. I sleep ALL NIGHT! No tossing and turning and rarely wake for bathroom. My BFF is 6’6 and broad! When he stays over it’s hard to get cozy and have uninterrupted sleep. But on this mattess he sleeps like a baby and I don’t feel him move around! I’ve notice that even on the weekends. I’m waking up early and I feel fully rested. And today it dawned on me, I haven’t been in any pain! My hips aren’t hurting, my neck and back feel great! I used to always take something to help me sleep and I haven’t since I got this bed and the only con I have is that I’m sleeping so sound that my alarm clock doesn’t wake me easily anymore!I love this mattress but it was something that took me out of my comfort zone so it took some time and probably still will to get totally used to it. Not only has this bed changed my sleep and how I feel, but it’s like super affordable!I’d definitely buy again!

You know sleep is sacred, so most people are pretty picky about their beds, I am no exception. So for me, I like squishy things which includes a soft pillow top bed, that has some decent sink and some support for my aching back and neck. I knew it wouldn’t be exactly like a pillow top because it was a hybrid and was on sale at such a low price, but it is not plush like advertised. I let it plump up for 72 hours before giving it a go and my body didn’t love it. More flopping onto my stomach to try to sleep again. If you are a back sleeper, this will be fine for you but I tend to sleep on my side and stomach, it doesn’t have much sink on the side, so I was waking up feeling pretty stiff. It does seem better on the stomach, but still felt old & stiff. Overall, it was a great price, so I just bought a 2 inch memory foam topper and now it’s at the softness and comfort level I need. I didn’t feel the coils at all, so that’s a good thing, it’s just more firm than I wanted. Definitely think trying out a bed in the stores before purchase is a good idea, but I bought 2 different beds online for a place I will be staying in part-time, so I figured it was worth a try. The other is more plush than this one, so this one will end up in the guest room with the topper. Some may love it, but my individual assessment is meh. Best of luck Bed shoppers!

8/11/18I purchased the 12 inch, queen size mattress for my personal bed. The packaging for this item was a little odd... it came rolled up in the plastic as expected, but then was placed half way sticking out of a cardboard box which caused the outside plastic to get super dirty while being shipped here and covered me in black dust. I was able to drag the rolled up mattress to my bedroom by myself. The mattress was SUPER easy to inflate. I unrolled it, and within SECONDS of cutting into the plastic, it had completely inflated. I allowed it extra time to inflate while I set up my 14 inch platform bed frame. I was able to lay it on the frame, and with my frame as well as the mattress expanding to its full height, the bed was at a perfect level off the ground. This mattress is definitely a firm mattress, as stated in the description, but still allows for a little bounce. I personally prefer a firm mattress, and slept great after my first night. If you prefer a softer mattress, for this price, it’s worth just purchasing a mattress topper for it because of how convienent and cheap this is. I am very happy with our decision to go through amazon, rather than any other local stores, and will update if I notice any problems in the future!

This bed has honestly changed my life. I was balling on a budget with this purchase. I'm a pretty active person. 23yo I'm active duty in the Navy. The smell was a little weird but I've slept in jet fuel scented rooms before all while being cramped in a room full of smelly dudes. So it wasn't bother for me. Get some febreeze give it a good spray down and let it air out you'll never notice the smell. It is perfectly a medium firm bed. I sold my old bed so I could drive myself home and just buy new furniture when I got to where I was going. For like 3 weeks I slept on my futon and it made me miss my bed on the boat so when this bad boy came in the mail and after the 2 days of airing out I made my bed before work and I had the best night of sleep in a long time. I felt like I was laying on a toasted marshmallow. If you're afraid to bite the bullet at the end of the day either turn around and sell it to some kid in college who needs it or return it. It'll be awkward for sure but it's still an option.
