Mojotone TruGlu Tolex and Tweed Glue (32oz) White

Doesn't smell or make the mess you get with other products. Five stars if it was less expensive, but it does go a long ways. Excellent product.

Thankfully I did a couple of test runs before going all in on my project. I've tried various wait times and I cannot get this glue to tack up or adhere the pieces together. I've shaken the bottle. I've applied it with various brushes on various tolex samples. I've tried different levels of sanding on the wood to see if it needed a rough or smooth texture. This is by far the worst purchase I've made for my project

It never got tacky for me. I tried waiting up to 20 minutes per instructions and it would just get full-on dry with no tackiness. So it never worked for sticking the tolex correctly. I tried shorter times up to ten minutes, but still no luck. Ended up using it mostly wet with mixed results. It does dry clear and it is water clean up. Both are nice things, but maybe I got a bad batch? I just don't understand how it could be used in the way I got it.

What a waste of money. This adhesive never developed a decent tack, and believe me I tried several times with various wait lengths up to an hour. Threw the bottle in the garbage.
