JBL Flip 6 - Portable Speaker Black

Needed a new speaker for while I'm working delivery early mornings that can be heard in all area's as well as the 30 mins waterproof feature which is helpful incase of any spillages / using in the summer outside by pool- loud, good sound quality, product is weighty but in a good way really feels like a luxury speaker. Charge time and use time great, on sale when purchased so even happier! Also purchased the Carey case in matching colour and well I'm as happy as a fat kid in a sweet shop right now!

Fantastic quality of sound from such a small package. Reasonable volume. Bluetooth connection distance and quality good. Good battery life. Tough robust case. Dont hesitate to buy one JBL stuff is always good and this is no exception.

Brilliant product, it’s the second one I’ve bought (so I could link two together!), sound well exceeds what you would expect for its size and the battery lasts for ages!

Bought the speaker to pair up with my other JBL Flip 6 via Partyboost. They're a good stereo set up via the JBL app and get very loud. Music, films and Podcasts sound excellent with this set up. The sound quality for a speaker this size is very satisfying. It's not hi-fi but for around the house, garden and to take on holiday I doubt no one will be disappointed. I can see me getting a lot of use from my Flip 6's. I can recommend this speaker to everyone looking for a good sounding speaker that goes loud. The newer JBL Flip 7 is out but I'll stick with my Flip 6's for a few years yet.

I tend to use this a bit like the transistor radios of old - for casual listening in rooms or houses away from a proper stereo system. Not just music but radio and podcasts too. Compared with a transistor radio though, the sound is quite impressive but I wouldn't say it's hi-fi. Really useful speaker at a reasonable price.

I wanted to review three JBL speakers, comparatively, in one go. I have in front of me now the Flip 6, Xtreme 2 and Xtreme 3. I started with the Flip 6, to replace some aging Bose soundlink Micros (Flip 6 is way better than both Bose Micro and Flex, IMO). Overall, of the three the Flip 6 is the best bang for the buck...great range of sound, decent volume and bass for indoor use. Does distort a little at max volume. I then got the Xtreme 3 with high hopes. It has tremendously crisp highs, deep lows, but it is VERY lacking in the midrange...the sound feels hollow, empty. Might be OK for synthetic music, but for anything instrumental I was disappointed. What I did find is if you pair the Flip 6 with the Xtreme 3 in party mode, they together sound very good. The Flip 6 fills the holes in the sound of the Xtreme 3, the Xtreme 3 expands the sound of the Flip 6. A great pairing...but now you need two speakers. So then I got the Xtreme 2...which I will be keeping instead of the Xtreme 3. The treble isn't as crisp, the base maybe not quite as low, but it has good midrange, a much more balanced sound. A good way to explain it might be that the Xtreme 3 is better for drums/beats but the Xtreme 2 is better for bass and rhythm guitar. I wish that the Xtreme 2 could do party mode with the Flip 6, I bet that would be awesome, but the Xtreme 2 doesn't pair with the newer ones. The Flip 6 I think has slightly better range than the Xtreme 2, but it isn't as powerful sounding. Xtreme 2 gets louder and doesn't seem to distort at high volume. In conclusion, from my perspective: the Flip 6 is the better overall, bang for the buck, for indoor use. The Xtreme 2 is really good, would take if over the Flip 6 for outdoors and wouldn't be sad to have it in the house. The Xtreme 3 alone is just plain lacking...but if used in conjunction with the Flip 6,together are quite good. Xtreme 3 plus Flip 6 is louder and crisper than Xtreme 2 alone, a bit better range but not as powerful of a tone and still not as balanced in the mids.

Además de que llevandola al máximo volúmen no se distorsiona, sin importar el género musical que reproduzcas. La marca ofrece una aplicación en la cual puedes equalizar, seleccionar entre dos modalidades de bajos, visualizar el nivel de batería y personalizar el nombre del dispositivo para emparejamiento, así como gestionar la característica Party Boost que te permite conectar dos bocinas del mismo modelo que reproducen al mismo tiempo. Aunque esto también lo puedes hacer con el botón físico con el que cuenta la bocina. En cuestión de batería, las especificaciones ofrecen hasta 12 horas, la verdad es que a un volumen medio, pienso superan más de doce horas sin problema. En cuestión de conexión es estable, de rápida sincronización y sin relays o desconexiones además que el alcance, comparandolas con otras de mayor costo es superior. Ofrece resistencia al polvo y a las salpicaduras, pero se agradece totalmente la robustes con la que están fabricadas ya que en verdad soportan los golpes fuertes, el plástico o goma qué tiene en las orillas se siente ligeramente blando, y se rompió con una caída fuerte la verdad parece una mordida pequeña, pero quiero pensar que es así de suave su diseño para absorber de cierta manera los golpes que pudieran dañar el cuerpo o sus componentes internos. En general una bocina de cálidad premium a un costo súper asequible comparandola con otras marcas y sus precios. Además que aquí en Amazon está disponible a mejor costo que en otros lugares. No cuenta con opción para conectar mediante auxiliar o alguna ranura para reprocir mediante memorias. El puerto de carga es tipo C lo cual se agradece, pero se hubiera agradecido más que incluyera su propio cargador ya que únicamente incluye el cable de carga.
