For best results apply a small amount of Vaseline to engage threads and to prevent threads from sticking. The cover/lid was not designed to engage all of the threads on the container or be hermetically sealed. Intended for temporary (under 1 week) storage only. Refer to your sprayer manual for the correct cup size needed! 1.5 Quart Cup is Genuine OEM, Cover is aftermarket. Prosource 651000 is the part number for additional lids.

The lid is JUNK!!
Do NOT buy this garbage!! Yes, the cup looks to be OEM. However, the lid doesn't fit right and is an overpriced flimsy piece of plastic that you’re paying over five bucks for. The lid is a terrible fit, it barely fits on the cup’s threads and it feels like I’m going to ruin the threads on the cup if I force it on. There is no rubber seal as another reviewer mentioned. I wish I could return this crap.

Handy and as Good As The OEM
These, for some reason, are hard to find at the local Big Box where I bought the sprayer. Strange. Regardless, having an extra with a lid is pretty handy for most any reason you can think of. As good as the OEM supplied container and it was delivered quickly.
