WaveStormClassic Soft Top Foam 8ft Surfboard

Is it a low-cost surfboard? Yes. Can you catch waves with it? Yes! I am a beginner surfer and this thing was awesome. Must wax for sure though. I'm 5'11, 190.

I’m a beginner and have surfed with this board about 10 times so far. Its great! I have used other brands of the same type of board (8 foot foamie) and for some reason I feel like I nose dive LESS with this one. Plus it’s a great color!

Ok. Fast backstory. I’m a lifelong skater. I’m mid 30s and don’t recall a time I didn’t skate. So skating feels like walking to me. Popping stairs, hitting rails, carving whatever outside of vert lol. So balance is great. Went to Hawaii and wife got me a surf class. Was put on a 9’ rode it well enough instructor said “you are doing so well let’s switch” put me on his 8’. I was doing good on that. So I bought the 8’ wavestorm to start my journey. As it is summer in north fl the first chance of catching waves at a time I was off was yesterday morning. Nothing big 1-2’ florida summer mush but had a ball. What I’m trying to get at is this board is extremely easy to catch waves and balance. I was nervous at first because I ordered for a birthday and got a response that it was undeliverable...Amazon quickly reordered the same board so I could give it as a gift. I was shocked at how nice it was! We have 2 other "starter boards" from another company that cost a little more. I ordered this thinking it would be very similar - and was pleasantly surprised when we did receive it. I would 100% recommend this company even with the delay in shipping - totally worth it. I also never do reviews - but this I made an exception for :-)

Purchased this as Floridians who vacation for two weeks along the east coast of Florida near Cocoa Beach. Every year we rent a board from Ron Jon’s. We pulled the trigger and purchased this surfboard after shopping around and are very happy with the quality as well as the aesthetic it gives my daughters bedroom. Not sure how it would hold it to more frequent use but it’s perfect for what we needed it for.

We bought this for my daughters 8th birthday. We knew what we were buying for a $100 but bought it anyway. We ended up returning for a better quality board. But it is a great started board if that’s what you’re looking for.
