Excellent, Informative Book For All Wannabe Bloggers
There are other books with the same information (although each author has their favorite hosting company). So why did I give this book all five stars?First, the information is presented in an easy-t-understand, highly readable manner. Not only are there plenty of pictures, but author Gundi Gabrielle has chosen to insert arrows to point out the highlights. Ms. Gabrielle goes on to explain potentially necessary apps, and why budding website owners may want to add them. There are literally TONS of links in the ebook, most of which lead you to information about buying another product BUT the whole idea is learning about starting a successful blog. Unless you're just doing it so you can say you have one, most people either want the personal notoriety or to put a few bucks in their pockets. The bottom line is that it will be extremely difficult, if not possible, to accomplish this without many of the tools the author has suggested. Think of this book as a guide, or a shortcut to doing things the right way.Very helpful is the "Resources" section in the back, where Ms. Gabrielle has collected all the different companies and tools in one convenient spot. Training for WordPress as well as plain old beginner training for new bloggers is also featured.Bottom Line -- This book lives up to its title in more ways than one. If you are looking to start a blog and want to do it quickly and correctly, you can't do better than starting with Gundi Gabrielle's book. Five stars.

This book saved me hundreds of dollars and was my hand holder as I started my blog!
I just did a blog last week and used this valuable book to walk me through the process! I wish I had read it before my first failed blog with Word Press dot “com”. It was so nice to know what plugins to get, how to get set up for everything such as hosting with InMotion and building my lead generation pages with Thrive Architect. The added bonus linked video tutorials were fantastic! The author really taught me a ton in these valuable pages. Just the Thrive Architect tip from the author alone has saved me hundreds of dollars that I would’ve spent for the same thing! I cannot express enough appreciation for this amazing author that has mentored me through this process especially since IT scares me! Thank you Gundi Gabrielle! Your books have added so much value in my life! I STRONGLY recommend checking out ALL of her books! You would be foolish not to if you are trying to use the internet for an intellectual property business!

So, So Basic As To Be Useless
Wanted something to help me refresh my Wordpress skills that got old over 5 or so years of not using it, and bought this book as it looked like a decent choice. Here’s why I hate this book and encourage you to buy something else.1) The Look Inside does NOT show enough actual content to let you determine if the book is meaty enough to be actually useful.2) The content is so basic it feels as if it was written for people who’ve been living in a cave somewhere, without a computer, for a couple decades at least.3) The level at which this is written is really almost condescending; assumption being the reader is ignorant, technophobic or worse. This book, for my purposes, was a waste of money. You can find better stuff online for free.

Only book you need to get started with Wordpress!
Just got this book yesterday and finished it today!! This was a quick, no nonsense, book! Just the way I like it! I have an existing blog using wordpress and I wish I had this book while setting everything up! This book literally teaches you all of the basics that you really need to know to get started! She did all of the legwork you need to know and just has a way of explaining it in its simplest form. She also gives many great suggestions on how to grow your blog once you are up and running! And the thing that impressed me the most was that she emailed me back and answered any further questions that I had!!! So happy with this book!

Do NOT recommend - useless
Everything in this book can be found for free online. There was nothing worth paying for in this book. Chapter 7 was about blogging and marketing training. The author just gave links back to courses you had to pay for?! I already paid for the book, why are you giving me zero real information and requiring me to go to other links? It also has plugs for their other books in this chapter. The links that went back to free sites also didn't make sense to me, why not just include that information already in the book?

Voice of a cave-dweller
I am one of those people, who apparently dwell in a cave, as one of the comments described the level of blog knowledge, the kind I have, which is as low as it gets. This is the reason I bought this book. I wanted to be enlightened and brought up to 21st century., As far as I am concerned , it was a bad choice. The book is written by an obviously very knowledgable person. who wrote the book not for beginners (as I falsely supposed) but for people, who easily find their way among the expressions, references and explanations. I read the text, was familiar with the words in other contexts, but not the way used and understood in the world of blogs. After fighting my way through the pages, I was still in the dark. For example even before reading this book, sometimes by accident I could upload a picture, but most of the time I cannot. I eagerly looked up in this book the section about inserting a photo and after a few hours of acute frustrations, I still did not know how to do it. Same with the plugins. Many readers complain that the book is too simplistic; but I was frustrated by it, because it was not able to teach me the basics.,

Good book
Loads of good ideas and answer's to questions you have when starting a blog.. Really glad I read it.. Wish all the links in the book worked though.. A few didn't.. But info in the actual eBook without going through links is still well worth Reading..
