Great expresso coffee machine at a reasonable price.
I really like this expresso coffee machine. I've had it for a few week before writing this review.I'm very satisfied with it as it makes a very nice expresso as well as any type of coffee (Longo, Capuccino....etc...).The machine looks nice. It's quite small so doesn't need much space. It's easy to use and to clean. The only problem is that you have to buy an EU to UK adapter as the machine comes with and EU plug. Not a big deal but it should be mentioned clearly in the description.

Steam frother does not work properly
Coffee making is ok problem is steam frother comes out in fits and starts. Steam comes out after heating up for a minute in short busts of 5-10 seconds then another 30/40 seconds later another shirt bust of 5to 10 seconds takes takes more than 15minutes to froth half a jug of whole milk dissapointing

Good coffee, nice colourful machine!
The machine arrived in good conditions and on time. It takes some time to understand all the features and how to switch from the coffee program to the steam one, but nothing too complicated (especially if you carefully follow the manual that comes with it).Coffee is really good, it is nice to be able to use both pods (I used 44 mm pods) and coffee powder. The handle is at the beginning very tough, but don't worry, it gets much better after one or two weeks.Overall recommended!!

Espresso Virgin, Suitably Impressed
I upgraded from a leaky Krups pod machine to this. I know nothing, make that less than nothing about coffee. The closest I got previously was pressing the "espresso" button in Wetherspoons to add an extra shot to my latte.I was therefore, bewildered at this when I took it out of the box. However it couldn't be simpler to use. There's a brief but informative couple of paragraphs in the owners manual that get you set up, but this basically comes down to: Fill with water, insert the cuppy handle thing, twist to lock, press button to flush some water through, then repeat with some coffee grinds in the cuppy thing. One thing to note is that on the very first use/flush through, it took a few button presses to get the pipes primed and actually dispense water.I was pleased to discover that this unit did in fact come with a UK plug adapter so I could get right on with making a frothy mess in my kitchen. It comes with a selection of cuppy things, apparently called "filters". A 1 Cup, a 2 Cup, and a Pod cup. You can probably figure out the difference between them by yourself.I like a strong latte so I went straight for the 2 cup and duly filled it with coffee grinds, squashed it down, topped it up and squashed it down again. So far so good. Inserting the handle thing into the machine isn't difficult, but takes a couple of goes to get a feel for it, and it takes a bit of force to get it to lock, a hand on top of the machine to steady it is worthwhile.Pop a glass under the spouts and hit the 2 cup button. It whirs and chunters a bit then doles out a double shot of impressively creamy espresso. Easy as that.I was going to use our Velvetiser to do the milk, but I was feeling brave and adventurous so decided to have a go with the frothy wand thing. Did it straight into my latte glass, filled about ⅔ with milk. Took a bit of getting used to but it spat out some hot air and steam, and sure enough I ended up with a glass of hot frothy milk.Dumped my espresso into it, et voila, a pretty bloody good cup of rather strong caffe latte.I'm sure I did a bunch of stuff wrong, and I look forward to playing with it a lot more and getting used to it, but it just goes to show that even an idiot like me can get a perfectly good drink out of it at the first attempt.Very pleased.

Great espresson but overheats
Very good espresso, but after using the milk frother it tends to overheat and this shows with the machine flashing. Need to wait over 5 minutes after switching off at mains before I can make coffee again. This isn't ideal when making more than 2 cups in the morning. A bit disappointed.OK so we are in May now. Machine stopped working. Steam nozzle started to peel off when I cleaned it. Not happy!Update: it stopped pumping water altogether and can't make any coffee.Slight burning smell. I had to dispose of machine.Bought a different machine now, cheaper but sadly doesn't make as good espresso. 😕

Professional looking machine
Great looking machine at a good price only two problems with mine is one of the back rubber feet was missing not a big deal just removed the other one and the pressure gauge never goes above 5 bar but it seems to make a nice cup of coffee and memory function to fill your coffee to the level of your cup which fits a 10cm tall cup without problem. You need a European Euro Schuko to UK Adaptor
