Q: 48" or 60".... for my f250 superduty with 10" lift on 40's?

i have a 6" lift on 35's and i have the 60" i do think 48 was more than enough but if you do go offroading for the price difference i would get the 60" since you never know who you have to help or if you need to use it for recovery.

Q: Other than 12" is there an advantage to 60 over 48? For the extra few $ should I just go with 60?

I use mine to pull out 4x4 wooden posts out of the frozen ground during the winter. I install & remove 4x4 posts for real estate companies. I'm constantly in and out of the truck with it this time of year so to me the 36 inch was more advantageous. It didnt make sense for me to lug a 60 inch jack in and out. They are heavy. It all depends what you are going to use it for. 60 inch might be better if you are using it for off road use with a Jeep or some other off road vehicle. The posts I install are only 24 inches in the ground so with a piece of chain I use 36 inches is perfect.

The jack has proven reliable for my purposes. I’ve mostly used it to lift sections of my dock which weigh 400-500 lbs. The big concern is stability of the camper. If it is sitting on a steep incline I would be concerned about the load shifting. This jack had a fairly small base and does not provide a lot of lateral stability.
