Infinity perfect-300m Perfect 3.5 Inch Component Midrange Speaker

My only con is that they don’t handle as much power as the woofers and tweeters from this same set. The woofers and tweeters handle 100 watts rms, while these handle 75 watts rms. However, I have yet to hear them distort and I’m sending 300 watts rms to each channel (so they are theoretically getting 100 watts rms). On top of that, the sound quality actually gets better, much better, once these are included. I didn’t think the 2-way could improve…

I used them to turn my Kappa Perfect 2 way system into a 3 way system. Basically it shifted the voice, to the midrange. The system has gotten a few compliments about how clear it is. But, it is all ran off a Kenwood head unit, with Rca's to a infinity 4 channel Amp.

WoW! Clarity and sound is phenomenal. Very loud and clear even at max volume.

These 3.5" speakers sound very good for there size when they work.The problem is the wire clamps are very poor. Tighten the wire clamp screws more than gently snug and the electrical connection will break. I mean holding the screw driver by the shaft, not the handle, with just finger tips can easily break the connection. After the connection breaks, gently tugging on the wires will get the speaker to produce sound. Once the wires are released the sound stops.This same issue has happened to 3 out of the 6 speakers I have purchased. I already returned two of them for replacement. Not sure what to do about this last one.This is probably why Infinity has discontinued the model speaker.

Replaced dash speaker on 2002 Dodge Ram. But needed to add tweeter that I purchased of same brand. Wish I’d done it sooner.
