This works great

I had just transferred to a new tank from a 55 gallon to 75 gallon. I needed to get a New filter and was really wanting to have crystal Clearwater. I purchased this and it took about two days for my tan to become crystal clear. I plan on using it monthly give a Good review

This attachment was used on my emperor pro 450. Lets just say that, this product WORKS. Most of the bad reviews on here seem clueless. If you have cloudy water, possibly due to bacterial bloom or algae bloom, this filter will NOT clear it up assuming it's just multiplying in the water column. If you have cloudiness due to fish poop, food, mulm, sand, dust etc. this does wonders. It will clog up insanely fast because it's a micron filter, not sure what the reviewers are expecting. Using a prefilter on your intake side, alongside with added filterfloss or sponge cutouts will also work great. The cartridges that come with most HOB that you buy is easy to use, but is very costly. and adding your own amount of "layers" used from a roll of filter floss is very cost effective and cleans way better.

What a simple idea. Works flawlessly too. If you add the foam pre-filter MarineLand ML EMP 450/PGUIN 375 Foam Filter 12/1 CT, (Model: AQ-78309) and this it really takes your 450 pros performance to it's best.Adds weeks of life to your standard internal E filter as well.

This filter works great! But it only lives for less than 24 hours! In less than 24 hours, it clogged up so bad, that it swelled up like a watermelon. My tank was NOT that cloudy or dirty. I just wanted something to give my filter that extra boost to make my water crystal clear, which this did. But after about 24 hours, I noticed that it was no longer filtering. I took it off only to find that it was totally impacted on the inside, which is where the water flows from. That's a bad design. It makes cleaning this filter totally impossible. If it drew the filtered water from the inside, at least you could clean the debris off of the outside of the filter. Clearly not worth the money.
