can this switch dim lights

Posting an updated response to this inquiry that is true as of today. The Wemo Light Switch is just a normal switch and it doesn't have a dimming feature. Please consider our new Wemo Dimmer (F7C509) which will calibrate to work with your specific type of bulb – from LEDs and CFLs to incandescent bulbs. No matter what type of bulb you’re using, you’ll enjoy the maximum amount of dimming range with no flickering.

Have a kitchen light that is controlled by 3 switches in diff. loc.will this switch work if I use it to replace one of the switch loc & leave 2 others

Hi, Don. The WEMO Light Switch will only work on a single pole light switch. The device is not compatible with lights controlled by more than one (1) switch. I have a panel with two toggle switches on it (U.S.) I would like to replace one of these with the WeMo light switch, would that be possible?

I have 2 toggles in one panel also. One was a dimmer switch, the other was regular. I had to replace the dimmer with the regular to get the wemo to fit, because of the widths of the dimmer and wemo

Can the switch control a ceiling fan?

Yes, it can control a ceiling fan. Any analog appliance that meets the requirement of this switch. It requires Max 600W Incandescent or 1800W Resistive at 120VAC.
