How do these compare to denon's ah-d5000 in stage, low-end and clarity?

I loved my ah-d5000’s for several years. Now that I have these, I never listen to them anymore. The 7200’s are a different league—they have a much wider stage, tighter and punchier low end, and greater clarity without being clinical or sharp—they have a pleasant musical sound. I am glad I got them—some things provide small increments of improvement—these are a leap in improvement

I have a pair of Fostex TH600's but always thought the construction of the headband let down the overall quality, are these designed any better?

Is it possible to use a 4.4 balanced cable for my sony wm1a? and where could i find one?

It use dual 3.5mm jack on headphones, u could just buy a official kimber cable for MDR-Z7 or a third party cable for Z7 and beyerdynamic T5P 2nd.
