My son loves it.
We got this for my sons 2nd birthday this past weekend! He loves it. He is on the tall side for 2 and he can reach the gas peddle just fine (I was worried since it says over 3). Hes road it for a while (hour or so straight) and the battery has never completely died between charges. It is even strong enough to pull a little trailer my dad built for him to hall stuff / our dogs around in, this is not recommended I'm sure, but it does work!

Thumbs up, but a few cautionary notes before buying
After comparing a half dozen of these motorized ride-on toys, we discovered they are VERY similar, the main differences being the style (truck, car, tractor, etc). For example, I have complaints about the quality of this Fisher Price Jeep, but in fact it's higher quality than some of the other units we compared (even more expensive ones). So a lot of these comments apply equally to all Fisher Price motorized toys (and even some other brands as well):========* PRICE ... Watch the prices! When i ordered it, the price was $199 with free Prime shipping, which is exceptional (smaller units start around $250 in stores). Now the price is $306, and may go up even more at Christmas time. The average price point is $250-$300. This is just a warning to watch the price!!* SHIPPING ... Comes in HUGE heavy box. The box was undamaged, but the left motor broke off in transit, and cracked the frame. I decided to repair it myself instead of waiting for replacement parts (or trying to cram it back in the box), & noticed a design flaw - the rear electric motors (rear wheel drive, each wheel has its own motor) are not attached well at all, I believe there's a good chance they will eventually break off. My suggestion, while assembling it, drill a few extra screws into the frame for extra support.* ASSEMBLY ... You have to assemble *everything* - absolutely nothing comes pre-assembled. For example, see the rear roll-bar in the photo? That alone is 16 pieces to be screwed together, not including the decals. Allow 90 minutes, but my repair took another 90 minutes, making assembly time a little over 3 hours total for me (from box to complete unit). For assembly, all you need is Phillips screwdriver (or preferably, cordless screwdriver or cordless drill). The kit comes with a pair of small wrenches (to attach the wheels).* SIZE ... This will NOT fit through a normal doorway, it's wider than most of the ones I've seen in stores. That makes storage a HUGE pain.* AGES ... I know the box says 3-6 years, but I say more like 2-5 years. Granted my kids are taller than average, but my 4-year old is already bumping her knees against the dashboard - I'm sure she will have outgrown it by age 6. My 2 1/2 year old does fine with it.* WHEELS ... Are hard plastic, they slip easily. No worse than any other model, but it basically doesn't work at all in our yard, too many slopes. The ideal surface for this is flat astroturf, but it works well on a flat parking lot. It slips on our wood deck (no traction). It also slips on even slightly damp grass, on uneven grass or tall grass, and uphill. There are several solutions. You can buy "traction bands" (basically big fat rubber bands), or, spray the tires with rubber grip, available at any hardware store for $6-12 per can. It will peel off over time, just re-apply. Or do an Amazon search for product numbers B0006SU3QW or B007I6IFX8.* CAPACITY ... This is a 2-seater, fits 2 children fine. Be aware of the dangers of having 2 kids in a vehicle that's easy to jump out of (yes, my 2-year-old jumps out of it while it's still moving, and both kids have had their toes run over several times now! Fortunately no major damage)The box says weight capacity is 130 pounds, but this thing WILL hold up to 200 pounds (don't ask me how I know this LOL...at night after bedtime, daddy sometimes takes it out for a little joy ride!!).* BATTERY ... This is basically a small 12 volt car battery (half-size). Remove the battery (under the hood) & bring it inside to charge. It needs to charge it at least once a month or it will die. It's a proprietary battery, you can find generics on eBay or Amazon, or else buy a replacement (or spare) from fisher price.Battery lasts at least 4 hours (when new). The battery life will shorten over time, best case scenario it will last you a couple years. The instructions say it takes 18 hours to charge, but there is no light indicator, so the only way to know if's full is to check with a battery tester or multimeter. Do not overcharge the battery (i.e., don't leave it plugged in for days at a time) - this AC adapter/charger is not a trickle charger and could fry your battery to overcharge.* SPEED / GEARS ... There are actually 4 gears, controlled by a shifter in the middle: Low (2.5 mph), High (5 mph), Reverse and allegedly there's a Park (which i can't find, no matter how much I fiddle with the gear shifter). So realistically there's only 3 gears, though it ~really~ needs a brake or a park (while kids are loading/unloading, etc). It comes with a screw in the shifter to lock out high gear - remove the screw when your kids are ready for more speed.Actually I think the "slow" speed at 2.5mph is still a little fast for small children. Keep in mind, the gas pedal is not an accelerator - it's just an on/off switch. There is no speeding up or slowing down (just go & stop), so you get some whiplash. And there is NO brake pedal.* TURNING RADIUS ... isn't great, probably 6-8 feet. You really need a lot of flat space to use this. And this is heavy & bulky to take to the park or something like that. You could throw it in a pickup truck fairly easily, but it's too bulky to transport easily in a minivan, crossover, or sedan. If you don't have a big flat yard, or a school/park right next door, think twice.* TRUNK ... there's really no room in the trunk, despite how the photos look. It's about 3" deep. It looks like there's room for toys, or almost a 3rd child. I believe the motor could probably handle a small 3rd child, but sadly there's no room. Though I've thought about adding a hitch and rigging a trailer to it (DIY).* STORAGE ... Only option really is garage or shed (with no stairs). The sun will fade it, there are lots of little pockets for water to get trapped, which will rust & breed mosquitos.* WEIGHT ... It's heavy, about 55 pounds. You have to lift it, it's very difficult for an adult to "drive" it. We have stairs to our front porch, which makes this really difficult to move & store. And it's longer & taller than necessary (the front bumper & the roll bars add several inches to the dimensions), and there's no handles, no good place to lift it. If you try lifting it by the roll bars, they will break.* STYLING ... is excellent, love the looks of it, lots of little Jeep details. Neighborhood kids love it too.* OTHER AMENITIES ... None really. No horn, radio, lights or anything like that. All these things are decals. It has a fake key/ignition switch that doesn't do anything.========So while my kids & I have a blast with it, I still have mixed feelings because we so rarely use it. And they don't really ask for it either. It's a pain to pull out, a pain to store it, and a pain to keep charged up. I have an oversized lot (huge yard, fairly flat), yet it's not even enough, and it's frustrating for everyone as the Jeep gets stuck on a stick or a clump of grass. We have a blast taking it to the neighborhood playground, but loading it up is a chore (I have to take the rear seat out of the minivan in order to transport it). I have a feeling for many people, this is like the exercise machines that get used once or twice then get forgotten.Well, that's a BUNCH of objective information that will hopefully help you in your shopping - Good Luck!

Love it.
Love this and most importantly the little 4 year old that we gifted this car to was literally shaking and obsessed. It does come with built in battery and charger, it fits 2 kids perfectly, the lights at the back are amazing and make the little jeep just a little more cool :) It does not have a radio like similar cars like this, it has a radio looking speaker, when you push the button, sounds of dinosaur roaring come out. The car also doesnt have key ignition, like other cars, just a pretend key, so if you want to preserve the battery life you might need to unplung it (front of the car). Overall, love it. I and my 5 friends bought it together and it was the best choice for a gift.

So much fun
This is the cutest Jeep. My husband and I always wanted one growing up, so we decided our niece needed one. We left the stickers off which made it feel a little nicer. She loves pink and purple so that’s all she needed to see. It was easy to assemble, it took less than two hours. It is pretty big once put together, so keep transportation in mind if you’re giving it as a gift. It barely fit in my Subaru Forester. She loved it so we’re very happy with this purchase.

My inner child is jealous of my kids
My boys absolutely LOVE this Jeep. It took me about 90 minutes to put together, but it was worth it. The working lights and dinosaur sound effects are a lot of fun. The only detail they overlooked was a Jeff Goldblum decal. Now I just need to figure out how to teach my 3.5 year how to drive...apparently steering isn’t as intuitive as I thought.

Your kids will have tons of fun in this car! Very spacious!
I love this car! :-) This car fits both my sons and it’s roomy. It’s kind of funny I weigh 130 pounds and I’m 5-1 and I sat in the car and started it and it was able to move. Both my kids will have a few years of fun. my four-year-old and almost 1-year-old baby love it. For the most part it was easy to assemble. Definitely pay attention to instructions. It’s very spacious. I like that the battery charges underneath the hood instead of underneath the seat like some power wheels do. There’s even room in the back for Water bottle, sippy cups or atoy or two behind the seat. The battery even came charged up a little. I would recommend charging the battery all the way before using it because it will die quickly if not charged right out of the box.

Son loves it
We have had this for awhile before I wrote this review (almost a year). My son (soon to be 3) drives it almost everyday. We still have the original battery with it. It does need charged after about 30-40 minutes of continuous driving, but it is perfect timing to get him off of it. Otherwise, he would probably ride it for hours without stopping.

Well designed with great instructions
After looking at many vehicles like this I settled on the Fisher Price, primarily because of weight capacity (130 lbs versus 70 lbs for cheap Chinese off brand) and reviews. I received it ahead of promise date, well packaged. Assembly took about 90 minutes, including decals. Instructions are absolutely the best step-by-step instructions with pictures that I have ever seen in a product of similar complexity. It is so well designed and of high enough quality that if you think you have to force something you need to stop and reread the instructions. Stress parts are either steel or nylon. It comes with a 9ah 12v sealed battery that lasts for a couple of hours. I feel certain that this will still be running long after my grandkids outgrow it. Another good thing is that replacement parts are available and there is even a website that has parts to soup it up!

Pow Pow Powerwheels
Easier to assemble than I thought. Zero mechanically aptitude or experience and I did it myself. Took about 2.5-3 hours which likely will not for you. Sweating and cursing whole way but calmed down when I saw how clear the directions really were. Then my 5 yr old son showed me how to put it together lol. I got it up and running with no additional tools or adult help (remember assembly for dummies is me). EXCELLENT customer service when I thought I was missing a part which I later found. Car came fast, nicely packaged. A little flimsy for price range, but pretty much what you’d expect with current mass production. Product was able to hold me and I’m a 130 lbs woman (and at one point my son was in there too). By flimsy I mean the attachment parts were a little “cheap” feeling for price range.Overall worth it. I got it on sale and no regrets. Love the Jurassic theme and great way to break into the Powerwheels scene. Vicariously living out my childhood dream .

How much fun is that
How much fun is that?! We bought this Jeep as a joint birthday gift for our 2-year-old twin boys (it seats both of them easily). It has enough chrome, bright colors and sounds to make any child happy. It's easy to operate, just a press of the pedal to go, foot off the pedal to stop. You would also need 3 AA batteries for a dashboard - horn sound and a few selections for music from pretend radio. My twins are loving it and so is my 5-year old. Our oldest son is driving their brothers around, one at a time.Assembly took about 4 hours . Instructions are really well done and presented, all the openings matched perfectly, all the hardware fit. After the initial battery charge, you can leave the battery in the Jeep and plug the whole thing with the charging cord provided. We "park" this Jeep in the garage (away from possible rain) and charge it overnight.

He's going to love this.
Our grandson will go crazy over this. The Jeep arrived the day it said it would. Took abut 3.5 hours to put together, from taking it out of the box, reading the Instructions to putting on the decals. No problem with the construction. Good instructions. The only addition I made was to put a 1.85m (6') Bicycle safety flag with a hi-viz orange flag on the rear for added safety. I drilled 4 holes in the rear of the Jeep near the license plate and through bolted the flag on.We will give this to our grandson in the next month as the Spring weather gets better. He will be taught how to drive it properly and the correct rules of the road. I've made up a book of tickets. Red and Green. If he does something wrong he gets a Red ticket. Something right a Green ticket. At the end of 2 weeks we count the tickets. If he gets more Green tickets then he gets a nice surprise. Red tickets, not such a nice surprise.

Want to keep the Grand kids safe and their Mom happy! Grand Daughter loves it
The grille is not chromed as shown in the listing and on the bx. The other chrome is substandard but acceptable. The lower fog lights were MIA but no big tuna...just put the decals directly on the bumper. Installed a seat belt and used large Pool Noodle to pad the roll bar instead of the faux off road lights.Want to keep the Grand kids safe and their Mom happy! Grand Daughter loves it...her Mom had a red one when she was a kid. Can't want until the Grand Son is big enough to go for a ride in it!

Bon prix
