So far, so good. Once I test it out on the beach next week, I will provide any updates/edits.I think this would be perfect for parks as well. Even with the XL size it packs down to the size of a large folding camp chair and is considerably lightweight.I bought this for me, my partner and our pup. (2 adults and a M/L 55lb dog) We will all definitely fit with any bags we may have, without issue. I would say if you have a larger family - or pack a lot of things, it may be worth getting 2 - side by side or facing towards one another with a gap between (so people can enter/exit)I find the value for money (thus far) to be well worth it. I also like that it gives you options of stakes and/or sand bags to hold the tent in place.

Perfect tent for beach! Provides optimal amount of shade with the dark interior. Easy set up! Able to set up with one or two people. Built in flaps to fill with sand for added security so tent doesnt fly away. Withstood a very windy day at the beach- tent did not collapse or fly away. You can also close the tent for privacy. Even taking down the tent was a breeze and fitting it back into the sleeve took minimal effort. Very light weight as well. Highly recommend!

I love this tent, is big and under a strong sun you feel not hot inside. Enough vent windows, easy to put on and off. The only con is the size of the bag, is hard to make the tent fit in it, 2 more inches of material would make a big difference. Overall very satisfied.

Wonderful to have when having kids that are sensitive to the sun. It was easy to set up and protects from the sun as it is intended to do. Initially I was worried it would be inconvenient with heavy winds but it held down very well. Very happy with withs functionality, its mad with great quality.

We go to the beach several times a year and we've tried several different shades, umbrellas, etc.... and so far we love this one the most... we liked it so much we bought another a year later. I hope they both last and we hope to keep recommending them to our friends and family.
