This is a quality sturdy product which if used properly will last many years. It can be set up in different configurations. It’s is slightly heavier than if it was made from plastic but folds down very well. Can take large items such as bedding. Very happy with purchase. Not cheap in the short term but a good investment

I’m really happy with this clothes airer. It feels sturdy and well made, and it can hold a lot of washing. I live in a small flat, so it does take up a fair bit of space when fully open, but I actually prefer that - I like to do all my washing on one day, and having everything drying together in one place is so much better than spreading clothes around on multiple compact airers that can’t hold much.

A really well-made product, beautifully finished. It’s a bit on the heavy side and takes a little getting used to, but is very fit for purpose and has lots of drying space.

I bought a cheap clothes airer from a high street store... It collapsed and broke within two weeks. My previous one to that was more sturdy, though annoying as bars and spokes kept falling off!! After searching for a decent, robust clothes horse, I found this one. Finally the search is over! This brabantia is strong, robust, easy to assemble, and fold. Well worth the extra money. I do a lot of washing and this has lots of space, and no bars buckle or fall off! It's a bit heavier than cheaper models, but it's sturdy, and folds easily and flat.

Like many in current times, I am refusing to use the tumble dryer. We are lucky enough to have a low energy dehumidifier with a laundry setting. So, in recent months I have set myself the task of finding the perfect airer to use alongside it and I have gone through a few, which is a shame, as they were wastes of money. I should have just bitten the bullet and purchased this one, as although it was expensive, in the long run I'd have saved myself about £80 in airers that just weren't as good! This does not take up much floor space, but gets more on it. It is easy to open and I like the fact that you can place washing on the bottom of it, but it is high enough that unlike the last one I tried, washing doesn't drag onto the carpet. I also like the fact that the arms are able to be placed in many different ways. I tend to use it with them fully up, as it fits where I have it, but you can have them so they are lower down if required. It seems sturdy, which had been a concern and although I haven't tried it, I know I could get more than one load of washing on it. I tend to put one on and space it out, as I find that it then dries quicker. It takes up little room when folded down and I have it stored behind the door in our back bedroom when not in use. I am a big fan of this companies products and they must feel confident with this as it is offered with a 5 year warranty. This has been christened Betty the Bat airer, as the way I have it up, it does remind me of a bat flying! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this product to others.
