Nice Power Station- Compatabilty Issue with Rockpals RP100 Solar Panel
Having been a long time user of Rockpals products (own the 250, two 300 one 500 watt power stations and both 100 watt foldable solar panels) was happy that they came out with a larger model. Have tested this on my refrigerator and it handled the fridge with no problem. Charging from wall again no issues using both the PD port and the power brick. It arrived charged to 60% and after using the method above topped off the unit in a little under 2.5 hours. However when plugging in the RP100 solar panels into the unit, I mistakenly thought I could just plug and go like the 500 and 300 2020/2021 models. Unfortunately you have to use a special Anderson connector provided with the unit as the port on the unit is orientated differently than the the connectors provided with the RP100. After using the connector no issue. However trying to use the input charge port, I found that the RP100 4 in one connector cable cannot be used, as it does not have a 6.5mm plug, only 5.5mm. The Rockpals SP003 However does have the adapter, so you can charge using that panel with their MC4 adapter cable. If Rockpals had made this compatible with the 4 in one cable and the abilty to just plug and go using their panels like their other models I would give this unit five stars for out of the box performance. The four in one cable that they use in the RP100 is an excellent idea and I hope they will have a newer cable model incorporating the 6.5mm jack. Also to be competitive I would suggest a runtime addition to the display as some of their competitors have done.Note to Rockpals on their shipping. The box used was extremely well taped up on all corners. However upon opening the box literally fell apart. Would suggest a heavier grade corrugated box be used for this unit due to the weight. Will update on solar charging using 2 RP100s once our cloudy conditions here improve.Solar charging using 2 RP100 managed to obtain 133 max output from these. Upon checking the panels one had an average output of 55 watts max vs the second panel which hit 77 max. Using just the RP003 100 watt panel it generated an average of 83 watts. Unfortunately the RP003 cannot be used in parallel so cannot adequately reach the near the charging potential via solar.From20% to 100% it took 5.5 hours to fully charge on a extremely sunny afternoon day utilizing the two RP100s. If both panels could produce more watts the recharge time would certainly be less. So far, a good product from Rockpals. Would have liked to see the recharging take less time as this is a newer model and other comparable power stations have a faster charge time. Rockpals might not be doing this as some of the fast charging powers stations lose recharge cycle longevity due to faster charging.Looking forward to their next power station to test. And hint, hint Rockpals - can you come out with a 300 watt foldable panel?

Heavy, but that’s ok
Very heavy, but that’s a good thing, just be prepared. Love Rockpals.

limit to 8A on ecoflow delta
buyers should note that if getting this to use with their ecoflow delta power stations that the connector is a basic XT60 connector rather than the XT60I-F connector using the 3rd pin to inform that higher current throughput is allowed (>10A). using this cable with a delta power station will limit the input to 8A if it doesn't see the 3rd pin connection so if you're planning on hooking up multiple solar panels in parallel to increase the amps, this cable might not meet your needs.

Works Perfect
it does what it is supposed to do.

Very poor performance
This thing has very slow charging for a new power station of this size and doesn't even allow for proper passthrough charging. Forget about using the ac inverter while it's charging. And customer service is of no help with any of my issues
