These are well made, sturdy knives. I've only had them a few weeks but absolutely love them! I had been on a search for a while for a good knife set. I had purchased a set of Henckels and was incredibly disappointed in them. After returning them, I purchased and kept this Dalstrong set. The blades are incredibly sharp, the full tang has a nice weight to it and I feel like I have more control with these knives than any other knife I have owned or tried. Would definitely recommend. The block is also real wood and they were all exceptionally packaged.

I like to cook and have Shun knives at home. The knives at our vacation house were inexpensive 20-year-old Kitchen Aids and needed replacement, but I wanted to spend less than I did on my Shun knives. I read a bunch of Amazon reviews and went to several stores. I have a Dalstrong carving knife and like the quality, so I ordered this Vanquish Series set. The main features for me were the brand and 55 Rockwell hardness, forged, high-carbon blades. The forging process makes the steel much denser and harder than cheap stamped stainless blades. The quality of both the knives and the block is very high. These knives look and feel great. I would definitely recommend this knife set.

If you love knifes and to cook these are the knifes that satisfy every knife enthusiast dream. Will also achieve ever task and more then what you can throw at them in the kitchen.

The block still had wood in the slots making it impossible to insert knives. Vendor extremely slow in refunding returned merchandise. Would NOT recommend this brand or vendor. Worst experience I’ e had on Amazon.

I received it today. The package was damaged, and the knife holder was broken. The knife tip cover was broken too. But knives are good, and just because of that, I am giving them five stars, not for Amazon service.
