Amazing for Beginners & Pros Alike!
As the title says, these gloves are amazing for beginners, and there's a big reason for that - THE DOUBLE WRIST STRAPS!Any seasoned boxer/martial artist will experience wrist injuries, especially when they're newer to the sport. While you're learning to punch properly, you're bound to make mistakes, and wrist sprains/breaks are common. Also, it's unlikely that as a beginner, you're always wrapping your hands & wrist; even if you do, it's unlikely you wrapped properly. The amazing thing about these gloves is their double wrist support is unprecedented. There is not another velcro glove on the market that offers the same support as these gloves. It's hard to explain without wearing them, but you really feel like the glove is attached to your arm; it's brilliant. If you can afford to, even as a beginner, I'd recommend spending the extra cash to get this pair; your wrists will thank you. Now, that's not to say this glove is just for beginners; these are top-notch bag gloves. The padding feels great, the quality is perfect & the design is stylish. I can easily see myself getting 12 months of daily use out of these. Also, the added feature of fabric near the thumb to wipe sweat is a brilliant innovation that encouraged me to purchase this set over the real leather set - it was well worth it!Now, onto the bad. Firstly, there is a lot of criticism regarding the smell of these. Yes, these gloves get smelly fast, but that's a result of the sweat-wipe. I think it's more than worth cleaning my gloves more often to get the sweat-wipe feature.Secondly, I don't think these are great for sparring. I've seen this criticism from a few people that the padding on these feels "hard". I personally haven't noticed anything when fighting people who use these, but even when I feel the gloves the padding feels a little flat for sparring. I only use these on the bag to be safe.Lastly, the price. These gloves are costly, and for $200 you can get better gloves if you're going for a sport-specific glove. However, for a general combat sports glove, these are fantastic.Overall, if you have the cash to spend these are some of the best gloves you can get. Sure, if you want to go sport-specific you can find better gloves for the price, but the differences will be minimal. These gloves feel great, look cool & come from a reputable company - I can't recommend these highly enough.

All that glitters
Ive been doing boxing training for years and am a keen enthusiast. Just the training, no sparring or fighting, not even saying I'm any good, just love it. So I've used various gloves over the years for bagwork. Rivals, Adidas, and last but not least Hayabusa T3.I've got to say, on balance, the T3s are may fave gloves, slightly coming ahead of Rival RB11 and RFX Guerrero (but it's close but T3s are slightly cheaper). The overall support (wrist, hand placement, positioning, thumb) is fantastic and so is the protection. These are gloves that elevate your workout because you feel you can give more.Style wise they are very snazzy. I bought the black and gold iridescent ones, they are a bit flash but who cares.
