Great!!!
Been using this brand for years. I like this version the most. The regular soaps have very strong scents. They smell good, just on the stronger side. These are better if you have sensitive skin. On the pricier side but good ingredients and quality.

The "Little is a lot" bar of soap
This is the first soap that doesn't leave my forehead dry after shower. This is actually a great bar of soap hands down. I've seen people complain about the quick dissipation of the bar and I think that comes down to over lathering the bar IMO. You do not need to constantly lather up like a normal bar of soap. For example, I'll take the bar and lather up my wash rag and use the rag to rub the soap across my body and have noticed that there is significant amount that I'm just washing down the shower drain. It only take a small amount of lather unlike the corporate soaps. So the quick dissipation has to do with using the bar far too much. Like the old saying, "a little is a lot" pertains to this soap. Frankly I'm a guy and most guys don't post about their soap habits but I really like this soap and I think some guys will like this stuff as well. Not too mention the various scents. Great stuff and from what I understand they are a smaller business that makes this which is a plus in my book. Great soap, really! Lol!!! Crazy, I know. The fact I'm writing a product review of soap. But it is the best stuff I have found for myself anyway.

It's pretty darned good, but I haven't tried the competition yet.
I'd really prefer to give 4.5. The scent is great. The soap feels very good and I get clean nicely. Also the bars are large, 3 bars is almost like 6 conventional bars but not quite. However, I'm not sold on the pumice or sand. I just got this so I'll need time to see if the pumice really matters. The bar makes very soapy lather that I like. It's a big difference from using my Dial Soap. I'm getting old so I have to take care of my skin better. I might try some of the competition but right now I love this Birch Tree soap. Manly scent and it cleans well but doesn't try out my skin so much.

This soap offers a refreshing and invigorating experience, leaving me feeling clean, rejuvenated, and guilt-free about the products I use on my skin. Natural Ingredients and Cold Process: The use of natural oils and the cold process method in crafting this soap is evident in its high-quality performance. Dr. Squatch prides itself on avoiding harmful chemicals, and this bar soap delivers on that promise. The natural ingredients not only cleanse effectively but also leave my skin feeling nourished and moisturized. Rich Lather and Luxurious Scents: One of the standout features of Dr. Squatch Men's Bar Soap is the rich lather it produces. With just a few rubs, it forms a velvety and substantial foam that covers my entire body, providing a thorough and satisfying cleanse. The variety of scents available adds to the luxurious experience. Each scent is distinct and not overpowering, ensuring I can choose one that suits my preference and mood. The bar soap arrives in a minimalistic and eco-friendly package, minimizing plastic waste and supporting the brand's environmental efforts. Dr. Squatch Natural Men’s Bar Soap: Good Soap, Odd Shape
Dr. Squatch Natural Men’s Bar Soap is very committed to being a bar of soap for men. You can tell. It’s square, which sounds decisive but mostly feels awkward. Turns out corners are not what your hands asked for in the shower. The scent is nice. Clean, slightly woodsy, not aggressive. It just doesn’t linger much. You’ll smell good for a brief, tasteful moment and then rejoin the general population of neutral humans. The color is… bold. My first bar was a violet-red situation that felt more “art class clay” than “rugged masculinity.” It’s not offensive, just oddly intense for something meant to wash you. I’d prefer something more neutral. Beige has never hurt anyone. Performance-wise, it’s fine. It lathers well enough and leaves you clean without feeling stripped. Not life-changing. Not disappointing. Just solid soap with strong branding and sharp edges. Literally.

This soap feels incredible!
I received this in the mail yesterday and couldn't wait to use it. I got the cedar citrus, pine tar, and the alpine sage. First off in Dr. Squatch Ads I've heard girls say it smells like their man's cologne. I personally was expecting a more fragrant smell. It is pleasant but it still has a very soapy smell. Not that that is bad but I think I was expecting something else. I'm someone who has been showering in the laziest way for the last decade and that's pouring some sort of liquid body wash on a loofah and using that and although the smells of body wash I used were very much like cologne from various brands the list of ingredients was certainly comparable to the what Dr. Squatch ads mentioned. I did a little research and they certainly did too because they were spot on. The ingredients in most soaps is very harmful to your skin and body. It makes me feel better knowing I'll be using this from now on because it lists the ingredients as natural essential oils, Shea butter, sea salt .... etc etc. The lather in the shower was instant which I thought was great. I've used a lot of natural soaps products before and they typically don't behave like other soaps I'm used to do. Like natural toothpaste doesn't create a bubbly lather in your mouth like name brand toothpastes do. This soap behaves like other soaps which is great. My skin after the shower feels incredible. You can literally notice a difference and the smell that lingers on my whole body is also noticeable. Even touching my skin now I can feel a softness that is very noticeable. My favorite soap as far as smell goes is the Alpine Sage and that is the only one I tested so far. I'm someone who has a medium sized beard that I attempt to maintain, trim, and keep as healthy as possible. I use beard oil and balms to insure that my beard looks and is as healthy as possible. I think that I will stop using my oil for a week simply to test the soap on my beard. I used it this morning in the shower and I can already notice a difference. My skin is soft and my beard hairs smell like the forest. So far nothing but good things to say about Dr. Squatch. I hope to eventually replace my shampoo and conditioner if they have the products because I'm a bearded man bun having individual and would love it if my wavy thick hair felt as good as my skin does today.

Pine tar is the best one
Once you try the pine tar bath bar, you will find all other soaps seriously underwhelming. Your body feels so clean and smells really outdoorsy.
