Hard to read
I bought this Tamagotchi for my niece who is 1 half of a set of twins. I got her brother one also. They are 9 and she caught on faster than he did. The screen was REALLY hard to see, which made it complicated to know which icon was which. It was a bit of an issue setting up and my neice was bummed she couldn't enter its name (I read over instructions several times so I don't think I overlooked, but maybe). Their birthday was back in March and to my knowledge the device is still working.

My daughter really wanted a Tamagotchi and this one does the job. It works exactly as it should. Now if only we could keep it alive more than a few days....

Showed my age
Thought I would get these for my kids after having them myself when I was in my younger years, though I think I was more excited than they were. After a few days the novelty wore off and the responsibility of keeping this electronic animal alive was too much for them. Where they are now, I’ll never know. I guess some things are better left in the past.
