The pocket door frame seems to be of good quality, however the soft-close mechanism fails
The media could not be loaded. Update of Update:This company has gone above and beyond on customer service! The pocket door mechanism is working great! We were sent the soft-close mechanism for a heavier door and it has been working flawlessly.Update: Faye, has been very active in trying to help us resolve our issues with the pocket door frame's soft-close mechanism. She absolutely gets a full 5-stars! Unfortunately, the soft-close mechanism is still failing. After replacing the soft-close mechanism and swapping out the top rail. The only thing we can figure out at this point, is that perhaps the actual weight rating for the door, should be much lower. The pocket door frame information states up to 88 pounds and our door is 52.6 pounds. If we leave the mechanism sitting without any weight, the soft-close mechanism stays engaged. We even reinforced the top rail by adding shims with screws above it (just in case) to keep the door's weight from creating any possible bounce in the frame. The rest of the frame seems to be well made and the rollers move quiet and smoothly. Thank you for all of your efforts!Original Review:We installed the pocket door frame after tearing out (2) walls. We tested the soft-close mechanism many times, before closing the walls up and casing out the door. We then opened and closed the door a few more times and the soft-close failed. We removed part of the casing and cut open the top edge of the framing and reactivated the soft-close mechanism again. Each time the mechanism works a few times and disengages. The stainless steel soft-close bar/bracket appears to unseat itself prior to the soft-close disengaging. The pocket door frame seems to be of good quality, but the soft-close feature is extremely unreliable. When the soft-close feature doesn't work, it causes the door to hit the door jamb. The pocket door frame has been properly installed and checked for plumb and level, the soft-close mechanism was activated, the weight of the new door is 56lbs (within the 88lbs allowed weight limit) and checked for level. The door guides were installed as well as the door's pulls and latch.Overnight the soft close mechanism worked itself loose and was disengaged by morning...

Rolls SO SMOOTH and-
The media could not be loaded. The wheels barely make noise!Make sure your sound is on so you can hear the wheels roll. (The one scraping sound is something else in the wall, has not bearing on the product)Sliding the door feels like when you use a butter knife through warm butter. The tracks and wheels feel like they will last for many years to come. Solid and sturdy.Every part came intact and straight. The instructions are simple and not overly complicated. If you build stuff on normal occasion, this should be just another project. But I don't think it would be easy for a beginner to do alone. There are plenty of searches and youtube vidoes out there to help explain some of the more uncommon parts of the instructions, like what side jambs are or chalk line. (Example as pictured)

Love these - except the price!
We bought 6 of these @$124.99 - now these are $99? How about a refund for $150! We like the units, but are not happy to be overcharged.

Cheap worthless screws
Trying to mount the brackets to the top of door for install. Predrilled holes in pine door. 3 screws twisted off, one stripped drive head. And no, the frames aren't adjustable for different width doors either.

Good Bang for the Buck
After shopping around at the big box stores trying to find a decent pocket door frame kit I took a look at this pocket door kit. For the price that the big box stores were asking for a frame kit that had only 1x4 wooden studs and no soft close / soft open you cant beat the price of this kit (only 30 dollars more) with metal studs and a soft close / soft open. The packaging that the kit came in was also very well done and the instructions were good enough to allow me to install my first pocket door system on my own. I took my time to measure 4 or 5 times to make sure my rail cut was correct but again the instructions did a good job of walking you through this as well. I'm not sure you can find a pocket door frame kit of this quality for a cheaper price. Well done on Jubilee's part. I will be ordering another.

Did what it needed to do
Other than the soft close breaking immediately after first use I have no complaints
