I have been helping a diabetic friend with a wound since Mid-October (yes! It is mid- March now!). He was in the hospital with this diabetic wound to his right dorsal foot that initially measured 12 cm long, 6 cm wide. Initially with was covered with eschar and unstageable. When the eschar debrided away, it left over 1.4 cm depth and VERY OPEN wound bed that was 'tender' and prone to infection. As I was researching available resources, I ran across this product. I can NOT TELL YOU how pleased I have been with it. I have been a nurse 32 years now. I have been doing wound care for most of the years actively. Without wound care or a wound vac device, I had little hope for saving this mans foot/leg. I am pleased to report the wound now measures less than 9 cm and thinnest width is 0.5 cm and widest is 3 cm.In the next 1-2 weeks it will be healed.Thank you for this product! Silver calcium alginate and LMesitran - and the grace of God- are responsible for aiding this wound to heal.I will DEFINITELY recommend this product

I love this oroduct. We are using it on my husb as nds lower leg diabetic ulcer and it is doing a good job cleaning out the infection. Although the healing is slow because of the type of wound it. Is a blessing we can do the dressings at home under a doctors watchful care.My only complaint is the wording on the outside of the box doesn't say "with honey". This should be on he outside of the box.

I am a family nurse practitioner and have several pts who have wound care "issues." I havn't actually used it yet. I wanted the stock available for my next ptI'll keep you posted

This product is exactly as described. I bought it for my fiance where he had a big open wound that need healing fast. In a matter of days improvement in healing could be seen. Quite happy with results.

My doctor recommended I use this. He said my wound would heal more quickly, there would be reduced scarring, and no infection. I found that to be true.

Absolutely love this product!!! We used it to help heal a wound on my elderly mothers leg. Wonderful product. Will purchase again.

Bought while I was doing a trial and error for wound care. I think good choice and worth trying if you have a difficult to heal wound.
