Update, 2 1/2 years later: Still loving this phone system, it still works just fine. Ok, it has a little trouble with pronouncing the caller ID names sometimes. And with 7/8 of our incoming calls being spam I wish the call block list was more than just 250. 5000 would be nice. The algorithm for reviewing the missed calls seems to be the regular call log, but this is not a big deal. The hand feel of the phone is just right and we are very pleased with the tone and clarity. ################ This is a superb multi handset phone system. It has every feature I could ever want. The sound quality is top notch. This system is also compatible with Panasonic's special handsets for the hearing impaired and the one they make for outdoor use. It comes with a full set of rechargeable batteries, although I replaced them with the high output EBL 1100 mAh rechargeables for extended talk time. The handsets are well designed, nicely shaped, and neither too heavy nor flyweight. The handset chargers are stable and don't slide around. Overall this is a very well made and designed product. The instruction manual is very detailed, well done and easy to read, but the phone system is so intuitive you hardly need it. Ok, the ringer isn't thunderously loud, but it's loud enough. And with all these handsets all over the house I can always hear the phone ring no matter where I am.

Love the phone, got them years ago

I bought this phone system a year ago. Overall I like it and would buy it again despite some annoying flaws. It has a super easy call block option that is worth it’s weight in gold. Would purchase again just for this feature! It’s held up over time well. Buttons on it are pretty intuitive. However I dislike the message retrieval set up. The old phone system I had from this manufacturer allowed you to erase the messages from the handset, this one does not. You have to always go to the base to do this, which has made me miss some messages, thinking they were the old one I didn’t get a chance to erase yet. Minor hassle, but one nonetheless. The other downside is that the battery charge lasts about half as long as my previous phone set. In addition, it comes with a really annoying voice that says low battery over and over and you have to manually turn this off all of the handsets. Very annoying when this loud voice wakes you out of a sound sleep. Who thought that was a good idea?? It’s tough to find useful landline phone systems these days. Would recommend this one but it’s not perfect.

I spent about two weeks reading reviews on Panasonic and AT&T cordless phones prior to ordering this one. I finally settled on the Panasonic phone for the following reasons(1) I have always liked Panasonic phones and this particular model will block 250 numbers and (2) The required batteries are easy to obtain and will probably cost less to replace. I have had the phone and its' 3 handsets for about a week now and everything seems to working fine. It comes with an owner's guide that is 65 pages long and it fairly easy to figure things out. Many of the settings one would like are set as the "default" setting so that saves some time in setting things up. All handsets seem to be holding their charge and the sound quality seems to be fine, including the answering machine. You have probably read that newer Panasonic phones seem more cheaply made than older Panasonic models. It is true that the handsets and base are lighter. However it may because of advanced technology and/or the attempt to cut costs. In, summary, I have not been disappointed with this purchase.

This is the 2nd set of Panasonic phones we purchased. The 1st set lasted almost 10 years and worked flawless. The batteries needed replacing and the sound quality had deteriorated so we went looking and decided to purchase this set which is basically the same model we have used for so long just in an updated style. So far we have been well satisfied with the new model. I believe the sound quality has improved over the older model. This model has all the features we enjoy like mute, phonebook, speaker mode, intercom and redial. I'm glad they are still making a proven design.

This is a replacement for an older panasonic system which the handsets were failing on. Delivery was fast. I love having enough phones again. The Call Blocking is outstanding! Especially since I can turn off the first ring which keeps the phones from ringing for the blocked numbers. Set-up is not as complicated as some say. But, there are two minuses. First, the new handsets do not signal when a new message was left. My old phone handsets would blink a light to easily let us know there is a new message. Now, we have to pick up the handsets and check to see if a message was left every time we come home. Just a convenience we really miss. Plus, as others have noted, the new panasonic handsets have weak batteries. But, we would definitely buy again. Additional Review: The phones are just over 2-years old and are starting to fail. So, we are going to have to replace the system with a newer Panasonic system.

Me gustó su versatilidad de opciones: tiene directorio, registro de llamadas, buzón, funciona como intercom, pausa, tiene muy buen sonido, me preguntaron si funciona para una casa de tres pisos, yo vivo en en una de dos pisos y funciona de maravilla, el teléfono central tiene que estar cerca del módem de Internet, lo tengo arriba, en el segundo piso y alcanza muy para el primero, yo creo que funcionaria igual en una de 3 pisos, siempre y cuando esté en medio, en el segundo piso y cerca del módem con una buena señal de Internet.

I was looking for a quality Panasonic cordless with larger buttons, white backlit display and clear reception. There are a lot of cheaper phones on the market that have small buttons and not so good reception. This is exactly what I was looking for and could not find in stores. I ordered it and received in 3 days. The reception is super clear and not muffled at all. The white display is easy to read and the buttons light up amber. The on/off button is separate from other functions and a decent size, which is what I was looking for. I would highly recommend this phone and researched for 2 months prior to purchasing. It is a little more pricey than other phones but worth it as it's a nice weight and feels like there is still quality in it, rather than cheap light, plastic that is on the market nowadays. I'm very pleased with my purchase and would purchase again.

I was replacing an old Panasonic 5.8GhZ (KX-TG6051BX) phone, and had been on the hunt for over a year, only this one met my requirements -- but was so expensive I could not dare to order for so long. But when I saw it listed at this low price (AED =425/-), I immediately ordered it. And I was not disappointed, what great value for money, and what great features from a solid phone. Not as well built as the original Japanese made phone it replaced, but still a solid buy. The only thing to note for UAE/Middle East customers is that it supports only 110V, as it is an American product with an American flat plug, and also has a specialised adapter which will make it essential to buy a step-down transformer or adapter -- which I bought separately -- and its now working flawlessly. Tardó mucho en llegar pero valió la pena, ahora los molestos bancos estoy empezando a bloquearlos. La calidad del producto es muy buena, superó mis expectativas, lo único malo es que el manual a detalle de las funciones viene en inglés y sólo trae una guía rápida en español pero la ventaja es que es muy intuitivo el dispositivo.

I used this Panasonic cordless 4 phone set to replace a 14 year old Panasonic 4 phone set. During the 14 years I had to replace the chargeable batteries 3 times which is expected normal lifespan for these batteries. Because of the age of the old cordless phone set the sound on some of the phones was starting to degrade. On one of them the display was starting to fail. Rather than replace the failing phone sets, and gambling if nothing else would go wrong with an aged phone set, to me it made better sense to buy a complete new cordless 4 phone set. We have been using the new phones today. So-far it is working very well. The sound quality is far improved compared to the old ones we had. Also consideration must be taken that the new set would have improved technology. The LCD displays look very good. Easy to read. As for the menu selections there will have to be some learning. Overall, I like this cordless phone system. I am satisfied with it.
