Q: Does this bait works on sugar ant (Odorous house ant, more specifically Tapinoma sessile)?

Had very small ants in kitchen and bathrooms. Used this bait and they were gone within three days. Don't know what kid of ants they were. They would not talk to me or answer any questions.

Q: do I have to do anything to activate them?

No. Just open the plastic wrapper. Easy & effective.

Q: It says “child proof”, but is it safe to use with cats, specically the ones who like to counter surf and bat everything around?

No it says poisonous for cats. It says they shouldn’t be allowed to touch it or bat it around. I ended up not using mine because I didn’t know that before I bought them. I didn’t want to risk my kitty getting sick

Q: Which baits are black? The photo on the package is black but the thumbnail closeup photo isn white. I don't want white. Suggestions please.

The baits are black and useless. I had to purchase another brand to kill my ants.
