The Office: Season 6

I have now almost purchased all the seasons of the office. Its funny as I work at an office an go home and watch a show about people working int he office.

They really hit their stride in this show and keep you laughing. This show is one you can watch over and over and will still laugh! Never a full moment, a classic like Seinfeld.

Nice set with all all season 6 episodes and plenty of extras for Offce fans. I've now got seasons 1-6 on DVD because Netflix removed it. You can watch it on Peacock, first 2 seasons for free . You will need to pay to watch the remaining seasons. This Office DVD set is worth every penny.

This season was perhaps the pinnacle of "The Office" because it finally contained the Jim/Pam (JAM) Wedding. Although it would have made sense to end the series on a high note with this wedding, the series is continuing on to a 7th season, which is the last for Steve Carell. The involvement with current events in a show that is so close to many American's daily office life was taken to a new level with the fiscal situation of Duner Mifflin. They were able to really take it a step beyond just increasing sales and I thought it was great they were able to keep the story line intact and eventful. I purchased this season on DVD because I have the other seasons on DVD and did not feel it was worth it to have just one season on Bluray. The characters have come such a long way since the first season and I hope they are able to finish strong going into the 7th season.

I realize that the unspoken rule of reviews-especially related to TV shows and movies-states that we must comment only on the quality of the program, and not the quality of the actual physical product. Well, nuts to that. I love The Office, and if this was only a review of the show, it would be five stars. But after receiving *three* defective orders of this season, this just needs to be said. I've just ordered my fourth purchase, and hope they get it right this time. The disc has to be bent to get it out of the case. That might be the issue.Update: After my fourth attempt to purchase a working product, I believe I may have succeeded. Why? Unlike the first three orders, the insert featured in the photograph below was included in this order. I have posted it because Office fans have to help each other out when the dics of our favorite show are combined in the worst. packaging. ever.

This was the last great season of The Office. Seasons 1-6 are pure gold. The character development in this season is great, the plot lines are not being stretched and everyone still has amazing chemistry. Do not get me wrong season 7 was good, but this was the last great season of The Office. Although this season is available digitally on Netflix and possibly Amazon Prime, i still like having the hard copies. My friends and i bring the DVDs to our yearly cabin retreat and usually spend a day binge watching all out favorite episodes. If you are looking to save some money look for a used copy.
