Perfect
Perfect sushi knife. We used this to break down a 50lb tuna and make sashimi. It worked beautifully. It did not come with the sheath as advertised but after an email exchange with Shun’s customer service, they sent one out to us.

Great Blade and IMO definitely not too heavy
Amazing sushi blade! Ignore the one star review about it being heavy and hard to shape. The weight does not feel heavy at all and a skilled chef/knife user will love this blade. Don’t expect it to be flexible like some sushi blades. This blade is as rigid as it gets and it was built that way on purpose! If you want a flexible blade look elsewhere.
