Got this for my friend and he loves it. Said the quality is really good.

Put it in and worked for about a day then it quit…thought it was the gauge but after testing it was definitely the sensor…then I figured I’d try and tighten the sensor because the threaded end would spin even though the wire was tightly pinched and it unfortunately broke!

While helping my son with his K20-swapped Civic, we ran across an issue with getting the temperature gauge connected. I was anticipating a frustrating round of figuring out thread sizes and compatible sending units, and sourcing each piece individually and hoping it all worked. Who knew that this problem was already solved in this little kit?? Fantastic idea and a real time and headache saver, exactly what we needed all in one bag!

i only bought this for the adapter and it works great. that alone deserves 5 stars. overall this assembly gets 3 stars because the included sensor is absolute junk. the reading is way off. i swapped it with a used oem sensor from the junkyard and the gauge works properly and matches with my ECU reading.

Only worked for about a month and then the sensor kept reading that my car was overheating even though it wasn’t. I ended up using an oem sensor and threading it into the adapter that comes with this kit.

Based on the description and what I got the adapter was smaller than my radiator temp sensor port. Bummer.
