HIPGCC 0.5mm Creative Cute Carrot Pens Black Ink Roller Ball Pens(12PCS)

I got these HIPGCC 0.5mm Creative Cute Carrot Pens for my special needs son's class, but I am now rethinking that idea. When these work, they work very well, and I love how they write. When you try to take the caps off, however, the whole ink tube comes out, and it's a bear getting them back in to get them to work. There were only a few that didn't do this, and as such, they won't do for his class if all they do is come apart when they first try to use them - unless I can somehow figure out a work-around. The outer silicone area of the pen (that looks like a carrot) is comfortable and grippy - almost sticky, really - but it attracts every spec of dirt, hair, dust particle, etc. and it's also a pain to keep clean. I was torn about writing this review, because just to look at them, they are simply adorable and cute as a button! For decor purposes, they're super cute. When you can get them to work, they do actually write well, too - which is such a shame about how poorly they were put together. I'm hoping I got a "bad batch" of these and others don't have the same experiences with most of theirs like I did with mine. YMMV!

Here the thing with these pens, they do tend to come apart and have to be snapped back together but you want to love them so much because they really are cute that you don't even care because that is just a little "glitch" once you have already fallen for them.The "glitch" really is no big deal but there is a problem that causes them to come apart and it is a design flaw issue. I love them but at the same time, they do have problems. Would I order them again knowing this?... yes. Once you put it back together it stays and functions fine. This is a pack of 12 carrot pens. I think they are adorable! The downside is that when you remove the cap, the pen comes with, so you have to remove the pen cap and then put the cartridge back into the carrot holder part. Not too big of a deal but annoying. I do have to say though, despite this odd quirk of the cartridge coming lose, they write very well. It's smooth writing, not at all scratchy. I love that you CAN replace the cartridge if you need to. Despite it's quirks, I really like this pen!

These aren’t cheap plastic ball point pens. The exteriors are silicone, or something rubbery like that. They feel very comfortable in my hand. They look as adorable as they do in the pictures.The pen caps are made of a medium thickness plastic. I would like there to be someplace to put the caps when using the pens so they doesn’t get lost, but they don’t click onto the pen anywhere.The pen points are very thin—The ink flows uniformly, and allows for very smooth writing.

My daughter loves bunnies so I thought she would find these carrot pens cute and funny! She loves to draw and doodle and has been using these a lot. They are ok quality with some minor flaws in design but for the price and quantity, something I’m not too concerned about.These last for awhile with the caps on. They will dry out and not have consistent flow if the caps are left off.I think these would be great to add to Easter baskets or for Easter bags for school.

These are very cute carrot pens. Whimsical but not so juvenile they look out of place at work. They write really well and are easy to grip, even with my arthritic hands. On appearance and writing function, they are excellent.There are 2 functional problems. Every time I try take the cap off, the whole ink cartridge comes out. Every time. It’s annoying and a design flaw. Also there is no place to put the cap when the pen is in use, guaranteeing it will get lost.I like them but the design issue could use work.

The ink is dark and flows smoothly. I like how it feels. The carrots are cute.Disadvantages- the kids, of course, don't fit on the pen top so you have to pay attention so you don't lose them when writing.Everytime I pull of the cap, the whole pen separates, as pictured above. These are really cute, but disappointing. When I took the lid off of 10 out of the 12 of them, the ink cartridge would be pulled out too, and I'd have to hold onto the cartridge to pull the cap off of the pen tip. You then can push the ink back in, and the pen writes very finely and is nice. But it's not worth pulling the ink out every time you try to remove the cap from the pen.
