There is a bit of a difference between this and the HX is that it actually works with the consoles. The HX did not work with the consoles as advertise. In terms of sound, the HS pretty much has similar performance. These headphones are really nice and well built. It is pretty much the same size and performance (in sound) as the HX. I would say the biggest thing about this product is the size. The headphones are huge. The headphones are actually pretty light even though they were on the big size. It does have a mixture of mesh foam and PU leather for the ear cushions. With this material, you can expect the material to attract a ton of pet hair as well as some irritation to your skin if you sweat. Also expect the PU leather to crack overtime. It is unavoidable in my experience. The sound can be adjusted via a volume button on left side of the headphones. The headphone mesh/leather piece also makes it extremely nice for fitting and comfort. It does take a few uses to break in the material to comfort. Like a pair of shoes, you have got to break the headphones in for they are easier to fit on your head. The head piece can also be adjusted on the ends. It uses a charging stand in order to charge the device. It is pretty simple to just put the headphones on and it will automatically charge. The down side is that you need to put it on the charger to charge and cannot use it during that time. It uses a type c to connect to the charging station so you are able to replace that cable as needed. You can also connect this to your PC directly for USB power but I would recommend using a wall outlet if possible. It will beep on your headset when the battery gets low. This does work for consoles as well. I have not seen it work with the switch unfortunately. The sound quality is really good as well I am able to use this headphones with my VR headset and the sound is amazing. It feels like I am sitting in the room as it has surround sound. All controls for these headphones on the left side. You can mute/unmute as well as switch the power on on the left side which is great for me being left handed. The microphone definitely picks up my voice very easily and clearly. It blocks out a good amount of surrounding noise for something without a wind guard. The device is also very easy to adjust in my opinion to make it definitely feel very comfortable. The black color is great and is easy to keep clean short of pet hair. I found it really collects lint fast depending on where you store it. I would say if you can just to wipe it down with those lint catchers to get rid of hair and just wipes with an alcohol after use. It is very easily fitting to any head with the adjustment. The microphone is also adjustable and you do not really have much in terms of adjustment of the microphone position. The microphone can be pushed up but it does not mute the microphone as you need on the mute left side. The usb dongle is the usual RIG dongle. It just a long USB. There is no wind guard on the microphone but you do not get much ambient noise. Overall RIG does a great job with quality but are always a bit on the pricey side. I like that it is simple and easy to put the headphone on. The only issue I found was that the PU leather actually started to crack overtime so the quality there is not the best unfortunately.

My son loves it

I got this headset for my Boyfriend for Christmas and he loves it !! He has a playstation 5 and games a lot it’s definitely one of his biggest hobbies. The mic works great he really loves the detachable feature it’s a preference of his, Mic also sounds great !! perfect for game play communication. The sound quality is also really nice very subtle bass. I will say the volume dial on the left side of the headset is a bit wonky lol you have to keep turning it until you hear the “beep” and that’s how you know it’s all the way turned up, the mic dial is perfect though it stops normally unlike the volume one , it just keeps turning and turning. Anyways 10/10 gift my boyfriend was in need of new headphones and he really likes rig! they work really well with his ps5. He has previously bought a pair of these two years ago but we lost them on a vacation trip :( took me awhile to find the same pair (which these aren’t unfortunately) but they work just as good if not better !! long battery life, very comfortable on the head for long periods of gaming time. Very happy with my purchase :)!

The sounds are good and all but I got really sore after wearing these for a while. Not sure why either considering its light. The pressure gets to my earlobe after a whileThe battery is honestly not that good. 12 hours for todays standard is meh so you would end up charging more often than you think. it's even less than that if you dont like the announcer to tell you to charge your headset when its in low. And with battery degrading over time I can tell it will only last a couple of hours in the long run. and the charging port is micro usb which is a relic I never thought I would see again since im so used to usbc standard.Mic is pretty good. A definite upgrade than that ive been using which is a 20$ wired headset. People that I regular talk to over the game tells me i sound better than my old mic and my laptop mic.overall a 4/5Im not a fan of micro usb and the battery life could be better for its price tag. Sound is also great in my opinion.Otherwise its a pretty good headset, especially if you can get it cheap when its on sale

I did a thorough amount of research before choosing this headset for my PS5. With my previous Corsair headset, my friends in chat constantly complained about an echo, and they could even hear faint background noises from my house despite having the mic threshold set to the lowest level.However, with the new RIG headset, that issue is completely resolved. Without me mentioning anything, my friends have all commented on how much better my voice chat quality is. The wireless functionality is fantastic, and I’ve never encountered any issues with range or disconnections.While the sound quality is more than sufficient for my needs, it’s clear that this is a budget-friendly option, as the sound range isn’t particularly exceptional. But for the price, I don’t believe there’s a better product that offers the same level of functionality. I highly recommend it!

These sound amazing they feel very good on your head and ears high quality for a good price and the battery last around a week and the mic is very clear

Searched for Xbox. It came up in search. DONT BUY IT. ITS NOT FOR XBOX. I hope if you did what we did you read the reviews. Please Amazon. Remove this from Xbox searches.
