I’m not the type of person who usually leaves reviews but for this particular product I had to take a minute to tell everyone what a game changer this was. I was recently at the vet with my dog, whose gums were very red and inflamed, and the vet said that she needed to get put under anesthesia for a teeth cleaning, and the estimate was over ridiculous amount of money which I could not afford. So I figured I would give this tool a try and it works amazingly I introduced it to my dog slowly over a period of two weeks I couldn’t believe the chunks of tartar that were chipping off her teeth! Her gums are significantly less red and her breath smells so much better as long as you can get your dog used to the feeling and the sound, you will love this product!

I’m amazed how well this product worked. My dog is 15 years old and never got any profession dental work done and also not a fan of getting her teeth brushed. Her teeth maintained pretty good with dental treats, but over the past few years have noticed her breath progressively smelling bad and tarter built up pretty fast. I was concerned about putting her under to get professional cleaning due to her age plus the costs are outrageous.My dog had to warm up to it, but with a little bit of patience and lots of love she took it really well. It’s gentle and doesn’t make a noise til it hits the tooth. My dog does move her head a few times throughout the session but gives me enough time to get a little bit of tarter off at a time. So relieved I found a way to take care of my dogs teeth without breaking the bank.

I have finally found the solution! I just received this item today and couldn't wait to try it on my 11-year old terrier mix. Years ago, I had a bad experience the first time I had my dog's teeth cleaned so I do not feel comfortable subjecting my dog to that experience anymore. I have spent hundreds of dollars trying all the food additives, sea kelp, etc., and all the products that claim to reduce plaque and tartar. Nothing worked. Because of the continued deterioration of my dog's teeth, my vet has gotten snarky with me, making me feel like a bad dog parent for refusing to put her through anesthesia for a teeth cleaning. Anyway, I tried using this product today for the first time. To be honest, my dog did not like it at all. I think it was mostly because of the high pitched sound, BUT, after some persistence, gentle praise, and treats, she relaxed a bit and allowed me to work on her worst tooth for no more than 10 minutes. You can see the before and after shot attached to this review, with just a bit of plaque still left on the tooth. (I will start there next time!) I am just going to do a little bit more every day and as she gets used to it, I am confident that the maintenance will get easier. My point is, this product is not magic. However, it is an extremely effective tool if you can manage to use it properly with the cooperation from your dog and a lot of patience from you. Highly recommend trying this, if you are willing to do the work.

Very easy to use when it comes to cleaning the plaque off of my dogs teeth. (I have 5 corgis). They all don’t mind having their teeth cleaned now after a couple of usages. At first they were a bit hesitant due to seeing a “sharp” object coming towards their mouths.Even with 5 dogs, the battery life is amazing. I’ve only charged it once since owning it. And I use it about twice a month just to make sure my puppies teeth stay clean. It does take a bit of getting used to on how much “pressure” you have to put onto their teeth, but after a few tries, it’s like second nature.

This cleaner worked great on my 12 year old Labrador’s teeth!! There was a lot of build up. I had never tried to clean his teeth before, but thought I’d give this product a try before spending hundreds at the vet again. It worked great!! The front teeth, the back and both sides. It took a couple of days - for me to get used to it and my dog to get used to me working on his teeth. In the end, he was good with it and my family and I were very satisfied with the outcome. Just be patient working those K9 chompers!
