Flickers and Downeys love the suet.
My birds love this. I have to order it often. Wish they would have a large quantity to order at one time. There has been many times it is out of stock, which tells me birds all over the country love it.

My birds love this
So far I've seen downy woodpeckers, Carolina wren and nuthatches eat this up ever since I put it out. I even had my first goldfinch sighting with this. Though I haven't seen my red bellied woodpecker eat this, as I put it in a log suet feeder so not sure if the feeder or the food isn't bringing that one in. Still very happy with this product.

Popular with birds, but pricey and requires some work
The Pine Tree 5004 Log Jammers Insect Suet plugs are somewhat hard and have corners and edgesthat don't quite fit the round holes of a log suet feeder. I had to cut them into 2 inch pieces, warm them slightlyin the microwave, then stuff them into the holes of the log feeder. The product is somewhat pricey, but the plugs smelled delicious. The birds and squirrels gobbled up all the plugs in two days.

This is what I'll be buying from now on!
The birds love it! I like it because it doesn't stick to my hands like other types of suet.UPDATE: Since writing this, I have tried several, cheaper brands. The birds don't like them nearly as much as this one. This is what I'll be buying from now on!

Product I received was not what was advertised
I purposely ordered this product because of the insect(s) it's advertised it contains. The advertisement says ingredients are; finely ground peants, finely cracked corn, dehydrated crickets, dehydrated mealworms & dehydrated waxworms. The product I received has a different picture but the same name, with the ingredients being; rendered beef suet, ground peanuts, finely cracked corn, dehydrated mealworms, peanutbutter. I'm sure the birds will like it, but the variety of insects would, I believe, be more apealing to the birds. I'm dissapionted. Did not see an option to contact seller to hopefully remedy situation or at least let me know they changed the product.

The birds love these suet plugs
The birds love these suet plugs. We have many types of Woodpeckers visiting the feeder all day long, and it's not just Woodpeckers that are attracted to this suet so it makes for good bird watching.

Only brand my woodpeckers eat .. I have several different types of woodpeckers (even a couple Pilliated on occasion) along with Bluejays, Scrubjays, and occasionally I’ve seen Cardinals & Crows pecking at it! this flavor is often the first to go
